Nice one Tom! - Proud of you mate
Tom....completely respect your decision and it's entirely up to you but are you sure you are doing the right thing?
I've seen lots of people (both here and in GA) get to a few months gamble free and everything improves (Finances/relationships/well-being) and then think everything is sorted and move away. My opinion only..but you are taking a big risk here. Have a read of your first couple of posts on your diary and try to remember the mess you were in. Do you really want to risk heading back to those feelings?
Just throwing it out there...ultimately you've got to do what you are happy doing.
Take care.

Hi all,
Back to a Monday update after a few Tuesday's.
Please see below the lates days count to midnight last night. Congrats to Mr Stop this week for going through the 500 day barrier this week.
I'm doing great...managed to get on the golf course again yesterday but think I've given myself some mild heatstroke. My own fault for being ill prepared.
Wishing you all a great week ahead.

Checking in for this week gamble free. A welcome to Andrew and a sad farewell to Tom as I echo Gary's thoughts.
Hi everyone! Day 13 of my new challenge to not bet for my new boy! All good here.
Checking in on day 5, not thought about gambling at all, but that's because iv got a lot on my mind at the minute.. one thing I know is I don't want to gamble at all so that's a start x
thanks the german and justwant2benormal. nice early checkin's 🙂 Early days but as long as you are being as honest with youself as you can, that's a good start. Tri
Hi everyone. Check in on day 423. Stay safe everyone x
Checking in on 39 days and finances are starting to be much healthier since quitting. Pleased I rejoined the challenge and made the commitment to quit again.
Checking in on day 44.
Paid £500 off my debt today which I wouldn't of been able to do if I was gambling.
Checking in 162 days gamble free
Hi Gary
Thanks for the message. I have quit and gone back to gambling before and reading my first posts there isn't any denying I was in a very bad place. I now know I can never gamble again because once you think you can and do, you're back in deep before you know it.
I've made all the mistakes, lost a ton of cash but learnt from it, all be it the hard way. I'm never going back, I made that decision when I joined this challenge and it helped me take off away from where I was. I'm looking forward to watching the England games like I did when I was a kid, feels the same now, no money involved!
I wish everyone the best of luck and I will update my posts as time goes on to help others. I've paid off about 4k of debt since Feb so in that routine now.
Respect guys, catch you later.
Checking in on day 16 x
Checking in safely, let's keep marching soldiers x
Checking in day 69. Feeling good few thoughts with the euros starting but no real urge so happy with that.
Checking in, a whole week gamble free, seems to have gone really quick x
Affected by gambling?
