Hi all,

Only 17 people checked in this week which is the lowest total this year. Hope everyone is still safe and will log in next week safe and sound.

Congrats to richb06 for reaching 3 figures which is a great achievement. Well done. For a problem gambler, going 1 day without gambling can seem the hardest thing in the world - so we should give ourselves a collective pat on the back.

Cumulative totals below :-

  • triangle - 851
  • delboygolf - 844
  • Garyl1976 - 829
  • Glads Dad - 595
  • Balvaird - 454
  • Casey - 448
  • Oldhamktf - 291
  • thereaper - 152
  • onlyme - 120
  • richb06 - 103
  • Daz71 - 99
  • 8thOct - 99
  • The Ghost - 74
  • boxingdayfresh - 69
  • Orp123 - 46
  • Uncertain outcomes - 24
  • Lemon25 - 2

Thanks to those 17 signed in. We make a mighty good chain link for recovery. Keep holding hands. Tri

Checking in on 70 days ! This forum definitely helps me. Knowing I need to check in each week and also wanting to reach milestones like 100 days etc is keeping me going. It's hardest in the early days for me. Now I'm on 70 days I just want to keep going. Many days I don't think of gambling, there's still days I do and sometimes get the urges. But as time passes I find it is getting easier, avoiding a relapse again is the main thing now.

Hi everyone. I lapsed on Saturday.

I sat there in my house for a few hours trawling the Internet for sites that I hadn't self excluded from. I found one and gambled a lot of money. I'm completely gutted and it means I have to transfer money from another account to balance things out. I have self excluded from about 50 bookies online. It's just really gutting. Sorry guys.

So I am on day 5 and the journey starts again.

Sorry to read that TheGerman...have you thought of the reasons that led you to gamble again after a long period without? It's not my place to answer it but you've had a massive life event happen? Also, you stepped away from a routine of checking in weekly on the challenge (last one was a month ago).

Well done on being honest though and rejoining, that takes courage and I salute you for that.
