Well done matt. Just read some of your early stories and you seem similar to me....online gambling crippled us.

We are also the same age...im 37 next month and we are very similar in days gamble free.

Ive been battling this for a few years too and believe i have finally beaten it...hope you do too mate.

Seems we do have a lot in common because I fully believe I have it beaten now too. It's cost me a huge ammount in not only money but I am now in a much better place despite my losses.

My journey has been horrific the last few months (as you will see in reading my diary) but I am now feeling like a positive future is just around the corner.

203 days for you, great effort well done. Will keep and eye on your progress from now on.

Stepping in and doing the update for Deano as he's gone to the zoo, hope they don't mistake him for a monkey and keep him in.

My old mate Bal passed 2 years this week massive congratulations to him, onlyme carries on from the year to break the 400 barrier and congratulations to Donas1979 joins the century club as does woodley who joined last week but forgot to check in so belated congratulations to him.

Day 381. Checking in.

Hi, my name is Ally and I'm 24. I have been gambling for around 1-2 years but it started properly in February 2016 and has gone downhill since then. I have taken out several credit cards and a loan to fund my habit and have messed up my quality of life by having no money for anything else. Sometimes I stop for a couple of weeks and think I'm better but then I slip and it just gets worse. Today is day 1 of no gambling and this time I really need it to work.

Hi,

I would love to join this challenge if possible. Day 125 GF for me (my vice being sports betting and horse racing). I've no doubt I will succeed throughtout 2017 but these challenges give focus and support that is greatly appreciated.

Hope it's not too late to enrol. I haven't posted on here for a couple of years, had a lot of stuff going off in my life. I was meant to be clean for 15 but that went horribly wrong, my Father died last year and i went on a really bad binge of gambling afterwards, but i came out of that and now i've found the strength to stop after seeking the help i need. I last gambled on 16th November 2016 so just gone 5 months clean. I can't count the days but i think it's around 154. Happy to be part of the challenge if that's possible.
