Online Casino Complaint

From reading this you have two seperate complaints: 1 - ability to open an account after a permanent exclusion and 2 - breach of GDPR

You need to follow the casinos complaint process in the first instance; if you are not happy with their response then you have to go down the ADR route (Alternative Dispute Resolution) - in the case of this online casino these are handled by eCOGRA. THey will only get involved after you have raised an initial complaint with the casino though.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not bothered I got someones else's data. I'm more concerned  about permantley closong and account requested not to be able to reopen. Is this request enough to stop the account be opened again.

If you have requested the account to be closed permantley, then the casino should not reopen it for you as it would be a breach of their gaming license. 

If you want to come away from all sites, then i would recommend signing up to GamStop as that will prevent you opening any further accounts or playing on any accounts that you currently have active elswhere.

I'm going to register with them once my complaint is addressed.yes I requested permanent closure wirh no option to reopen again.

The allowed me open in March and lose a couple thousand.

I have been going back and forward I'm going to leave be now for a while see if they come back with positive resolution. They have mentioned they are trying to get a resolution for all parties. 

I'm just frustrated and disappointed wiyh myself! I know I will never gamble again but the fact I requested the closure they way I did I believe they breached responsible gaming promise and should make right on this.

An online casino? Sounds like one of those foreign bookmakers. You're going down a tricky route finding these non regulated casinos. They won't even pay you out, and you won't even be able to escalate any issues because they aren't regulated by gambling commissions. Be careful with those

@freshprince thanks for the reply. I think the regulated in UK and Malta. They were fined for 6million by the gambling commission UK march 2021 for not adhering to regulation.  I ust think when you ose account perma9and ask for it to be never reopened, even though its my fault for requesting them to reopen. They didn't cooperate in line with irresponsible gmaing laws, I could be totally wrong.

But sending me another user personal details and emails name deposit card details was shocking.

I really felt like sending the usr a mesage to let him know all his details breached by an online casino.

The addicted part of you won't like my reply but in time you will realise that you have to face your addiction first. 

The gambling dens are no angels and you know that inside. They take your money and do you seriously think they have a caring team of people crying that they have made a mistake? 

Do you think they much care about who they let in given the misery it causes to countless people? Do you think they are overly worried about regulations when the government are in on the tax take?

You handed your money to them on a plate....again. Whether they return it is another issue aside from your gambling problem

I say this because you need to see it and bear responsibility for a recovery. The truth is that if it costs you this money to finally see the light about gambling then it's saved your future in that way.

Are you going to stop gambling and are you truly ready for what it takes?

Thanks for the reply. I'm ready for the challenge as it's not easy. 

The truth hurts and thanks for the straight to the point reply. No bookie cares about anyone but the profits, I made a huge mistake but no I have to pick myself up and rebuild my life.

Yes thanks.......I'm not trying to be harsh and obviously as a side issue I hope they do apologise and return it. However you have to be truthful to yourself in realising we just gave it back to them anyway and more

I Know from recovery that I had to let the money go and stop gambling to save my life.

I also know that's its the people that get down to the brass facts that I really thank now because we have all been there through the addiction and confusion. I got plenty of there there's and take care hun but it's the people that challenged me that started me really thinking

Please reach out to family and friends to protect yourself and future money

Then if you are feeling calm and strong get some help and advice to draft a letter to those dens but remember its a side issue of a deeper problem of regaining your dignity, self respect and mental health

You give them no more and you can use that as a feeling of pride to properly self exclude and live on an allowance

If that sounds like you will be treated like a baby you have much to learn about the sheer power of this addiction

Money is no good for now in your pocket.......get it safely protected for you have cold turkey to do like any dangerous substance addiction

@andywilliams1187 i had 42000 on rizk casino and ecogra was only supporting casino theres no way you will get your money back with ecogra

I’ve had exactly the same problem regarding closing online casino accounts it’s like they don’t care and they just want the money taking advantage of us vulnerable compulsive gamblers. I’ve had the last laugh with them anyway because I just signed myself up to gamstop which blocks all my casino accounts anyways and I’m sure if you don’t login after a certain amount of time they just close your accounts anyway I found it easier to just block everything on gamstop and then just wait it out for them to close my accounts for inactivity rather than the hassle of all the security and the live chat trying to close accounts myself.

Yep I but gamban on phone and registered on this site feel amazing. 

Got a mesage of the company saying they want to help me on my path to recovery but also not accepting liability but refunded all deposits since the account was reopened. 

Thanks for the support its like getting a second chance and I'm taking it with open arms. 

Definitely I’m amazed that they refunded your deposits definitely see this as a second chance towards recovery I guess some casinos do have a heart but it’s rare I’ve been going to Gamblers Anonymous for the last 6 months or so and absolutely love it that’s been the golden path towards my recovery the group I’m with are brilliant it’s not just all focused on the gambling I can go there and tell them what I had for tea last night or just talk about hobbies and interests and general bantz and that’s what been keeping me going back every single week I just enjoy the general banter.

I use to go to them in Dublin ireland I have up as though family were embarrassed by me going. I use to love the meetings a great bunch of lads wanting to just tell there horrible stories to stop you making the same mistakes.
