I've been away from here a few years now,and things have improved so so much, but it's not great and sitting here thinking, life's got to be better than this,I've not been in a bookies for nearly 2 years now,so don't have constant battle with pay day,big still find my self sneaking off to play fruit machines, not all the time but enough to make me feel uncomfortable, and still seem to have to carry 100 quid when 30 would do,I know all the blocks to put in place, just need to stop being weak

Hi br1gy - You have obviously so much to offer here to others struggling with recovery, so I would urge you to visit the site regularly for you sake as well as others. There is a real camaraderie here which is so helpful and supportive and I am sure you would find that little extra 'something' here which would give you a little 'lift'

Best wishes,

Joanna

Hi br1gy,

Good to read that you doing good mate and I really do share Joanna's opinion.

Just the Fruit machine thing scares me a bit it reminds me to much of myself.
