176 Days ago I hit rock bottom, I felt dead inside, I was depressed and I saw no way out of an addiction I knew I had myself to blame for. All my money from pay day, gone and I went through two pay day loans in as many hours. I had no food in the fridge, I was hungry because I had spent the whole day gambling and I had no money to be able to fill up the car with even a days worth of petrol let alone food for the week. The next day I borrowed money from a friend I also bought myself Allen Carrs book on gambling and I have never looked back since. I finally have savings in my bank account, it’s not much buts it’s mine and I’m finally starting to pay off the debt that was constantly hanging over me. Everyone’s journey is different however there is hope out there and there is a future for everyone. This Christmas is the first in 5 years where I’ve had money in the bank to be able to spend on presents.
