Feeling a bit of resentment today to the gambling industry and the operators within it. I don't know whether I actually thought these companies were either charities or my best friends when I was in action. Maybe my brain focussed on the fact that it took me 3 decades to get to VIP status and I had to maintain that "Air of achievement" for another 14 years. I didn't need my ego inflated anymore but after 30 years, I was so good at gambling, so knowledgeable that I was at the top table as a member of several VIP clubs. Wow, I had finally made it.

I could now go into competitions knowing I would always win, which I did, because they were fixed. I managed to win a garden furniture voucher and it only cost me 20 x the value for the voucher in play.

I had weekly cash back so I was only losing 90% of my money so I was above the normal gambler and got 10 per cent back, never managed to withdraw that ever

I got sent a Xmas Hamper next year for my loyalty ? Not all the money I spent that year

Free spins... Well when are they ever free as they always ended with a deposit

Deposit bonuses, great so I lose my deposit and then the bonus as well.

I got calls from them each month to see how work was going, how my golf was and any holidays planned....all to gain information from me..

Taking a step back I can't believe how I was sucked in but now I can. They knew how to press the buttons and play me.

Where are these VIP manager friends now ? What happened once they found out the damage they have done ? They ticked all the boxes, so no refund even when the truth is presented to them
