A day finishes so quick when you're not working, doesn't it? dog walk, food shopping, cleaning, cooking, organising files/emails boom it's nearly 10pm. A productive day and I did not gamble today. Taking one day at a time. 53 days GF.

changed my car's wiper blades with the help of the girlfriend and a youtube tutorial video. saved some money there. I can't believe how easy it was. I thought I would have to get someone from halfords to fit them.

Did a bit of workout at home and cooked dinner. We both enjoyed the dinner and relaxed in the evening watching TV.

I'm loving every bit of this GF life. Not getting too carried away though as it's still early days and I have my guards in place. Taking one day at a time. 54 days GF.

It's been another productive day today. Done a lot of chores followed by a bit of future planning. It feels so nice when you spend your time and energy on something meaningful. One day in tomorrow and then a week off work yay! looking forward to that. 59 days GF.

Payday today. My girlfriend has full control over the money so I'm grateful that the hard earned money hasn't gone down the drain by gambling. We are slowly building our savings all thanks to her. I have no urges to gamble. In fact, I did an overtime shift of 12 hours today so the mind's been busy at work. Now off for a week. Time to relax and focus my mind on things that matter. I hope everyone has a lovely easter break. 60 days GF.

Girlfriend's birthday today went fantastic should I say. Took the car to the garage first thing to replace front pads and disc. Went food shopping and bought a yummy cake for the missus on the way home. Cooked dinner all by myself, let her put her feet up and relax. Food was lovely, enjoyed with some wine and baileys. Had the lovely cake for dessert. Gosh we both we were so stuffed in the end. The missus said she could get used to it everyday haha such a cheek. I'm glad that I managed to give her a nice treat today and it's the least she deserves. It's all been possible because of her incredible support towards my recovery. Taking one day at a time. 61 days GF.
