Don't think I am qualified to advise you on that one but it is your recovery and your journey your choice

My OH does the lottery in a syndicate at work,and I don't class that as anything to do with my recovery but if he won (I wished) I would not hesitate to,share his winnings lol your situation is different as you normally share a bet with sisters hubby

It really is how you feel about it and don't forget abstaining and recovery is a much bigger picture than counting days l

If you are honest with yourself and everything you might get your answer

Just make sure you do turn it in a positive and put it away where you can't get it else you will be back on day 0 and feeling very very sick

I learn new things every day on this forum about myself and about gambling behaviours

We all are here for one reason to STOP and STAY STOPPED but we all fight this in different ways and that is good because we can learn from other methods and either add them to our own or not it's our choice and our own journey

Use every barrier going and stay positive and strong

and I do believe in taking one day at a time
