I think I misunderstood your progress, as when you were talking about being skint at Christmas, I presumed you had been gambling just before then. Looks like it was just that you were still trying to recover from the last time ages ago.
You have made great progress if there have only been 2 slips so far, mate. High five!
Just keep not gambling just for today, and repeat daily and it will all come good.

Hi E..think sometimes you get to a point when you think whatever will be will be...glad your getting your car sorted as your right ..we rely on them so much and i would feel trapped and have major cabin fever if i couldn't get out and about..

Glad your car is being fixed. Just keep believing that things will get better albeit slowly. As CGs we want it all now but that wouldn't be right as we would all gamble and fix it right away. The process is slow for a reason. Enjoy the process as much as you can as you'll not pass this way again. The feeling of greatfullness for smaller things. In time these will become trivial. We are alot better off than some people with health and roof over our heads. We knoe what our problem is so we can move forward.

Car is all fixed got the call today,going to pick it up soon.
Although he had a good whinge about the cost and how i should pay for it but he gives me nothing for the kids(i have to ask if they need anything then he gets it) so he can pay for the car,goes through the business anyway so its not like he actually shelled out for it personally.
Feel like cr** and will be having another pj weekend roll on friday evening.(thankyou Rach.)

Have risen from my pit feeling awful,everything tastes horrible,nice productive cough,cold chills, headache and no energy. spending the day in pjs under my duvet,eldest has made me a bed downstairs.What a sweetie.
Its been two weeks since my last slip and emotionally i have recovered still cross with myself but that goes with the territory.
Moving forward and taking it easy.
