sounds like fun, baking with the kids! being skint can sometimes be a gift in that way - perhaps you wouldn't have bothered if there were pennies in the bank? baking is really good for kids' self esteem, as I am sure you will know.

Have made brownies,biscuits and fairy cakes today all from scratch to and as any good cook have sampled all of them now feeling a bit sick.

Havent had a day like today for ages up early ish quick tidy round all doors and windows open,sun shining,happy noises from kids,making a mess with kids baking,even had a laugh clearing up,nap for me and LO this afternoon,lovely sunday roast,kids film,bath,pjs and for me bed soon.No thoughts of gambling at all today i think i've had a near perfect sunday.

Got some overtime at work tomorrow so LO to his dads for the day and me to work,nice busy day no chance to gamble.

Only been a few days but all that "stuff" now has come to an end and I've stopped posting on my own diary..just reading others and doing odd posts for now...Supporters side a bit empty but guessing some people just get comfort from reading...

Feel a bit boring really now !..am sure life will throw me some more challenges but they probably won't be relevant to this forum...would have to set up "Rantcare" and get a lifetime membership ..lol .

Another down day today,mum came down and i ended up in tears.No gambling so thats not a problem at the mo.Just feeling like i'm stuck in a rut of cr** job and no money and dont really know how to turn it around i know i've complained about this before but its something i need to do to better my life and that of my kids or rather improve the quality of our lives.

There are many people who dont have what i have but i want to improve our lifes not stay the way we are.

Big hugs first! And I hope your okay pet. I know how it is to feel to just want everything to be better..especially when we want to give our kids the very best.

But you are doing that right now anyway...your sunday post was lovely and those things are what matter..quality time...that's what your kids will remember ..the time you spent with them and what a lovely mum they have.

The Rut I know well! Firstly small steps, 1st rule - No gambling. Needs to be Treated as a Salami, cut it into small consecutive pieces.

You're roaring along well with your priorities in place, now 'YOU' time is required, have a taster of College. Keep moving forward and true it'll always come Good....
