Simon, thanks, wish id seen your message sooner!

had a bad few weeks in personal family life, and have basically been to the bookies a lot. Started off winning 1k from 20 and have now lost it all and more.

this time has to be the time now, i tried to go to a ga meeting on Wednesday but got to the place and nobody seemed to be there.

I'm in the process of buying a house in the next few months so i physically need to stop now otherwise i wont be able to pay the mortgage.

have to make it stick this time, will be checking this forum every day reading as much as i can to try and remind myself what this horrible addiction does to Peoples lives

Has anybody tried hypnotherapy? Is there a general consensus as to whether it works or not?

I keep coming on here after I've let it slip and gambled! Need to start coming on before!

Frustrated at myself and wondering how the urges will ever end.

Morning.

Give GA another go, it might help you. Check their website for dates and times of meetings near you.

GA helped me, especially in my first year of recovery, and still does today.

Best wishes,

G

Right - I'm back and this time it's good and proper. I went on a night out last night and ended up in the casino, alone, and not making it home until gone 7am. It is ridiculous.

I want to be a new man. I am now promising to myself and to the forum that I will commit 100% to beating this, and do my very best to never gamble again.

Come on
