Hey I am 34 years old and gambled from i was 17. No matter how much i win, its not enough. I am never happy till i have nothing left. I have alot of good in my life but slipped back in my ways. Been winning a fair bit lately but lose it all in a day. Its so easy too lose it but so hard too win it. I am back now and going too do this forever or i will lose all the good in my life. Day 1 on positive as ever. I always get too day 50 or so and then i think I can control it. I am going too start putting £5 in a jar every day instead of putting a coupon or bet on. Moving forward never back. the past is in the past. Its how you fix the problem at times rather than the problem. Any support would be great folks and i will be giving my support out as well. I plan too be on here every day without fail.

Thanks for your kind words Phil, I agree with what you say. I am going too go too bed and wake up every day admitting I have a gambling problem and must not gamble in anyway. You can't gamble if you don't know when too stop. I have closed down all accounts and stuff

On day 5 still not had a bet. Sarting too feel like being back too myself again. Not stressing about gambling and concentrating on the important things in life. When your gambling you think gambling is the the most important thing. Its so far from the truth. When gambling and chasing your money you find it hard too accept defeat. Sport has never been more competative regarding shoock results. You see leicester winning the league at 5000/1, great too see but you could have put your house on at the begining of the season on them not winning it, Its scary. Feeling poisitve, I will still watch sport but just not gamble on it as it becomes serious and want too win all the time. Looking forward never back nearly past week 1.

Cheers Phil very kind words. I am fine once I give up I keep reminding my self where I have been and that stops me gambling. I have been here so many times and it's not about what you lose once you start gambling again it's that first bet. Once you have a problem it was always be a problem. Saturday used too be a big betting day. Now I have so much money and time on my hands. I can do nice things with the GF. I have good things in my life now and if my GF knew what I used too gamble it would ruin everything we have and I understand that. That's why I would rather not gamble. I have too much too lose now. Moving forward never back. Day 6 and staying strong

37 days gamble free had a few urges the past few days so had a think too where I was 37 days ago. Safe too say I have not had a bet. Staying positive is the key but when you haven't had a bet in over a month. You think too yourself that you can control it and could go back too betting. I suppose I will always have urges but it's how you deal with them is the key. Here is too a gamble free future and leave the past in the past. Moving forward never back

Massive well done to you.

Just keep the guard up, urges as you know can and will occur at the strangest of time.

You haven't been on here a lot, but remember that here is always better than a gamble. Of course it doesn't matter how often you post and members going long periods without a gamble is encouraging for others.

Thanks very much for your kind comments swordfish and steve70. Not been on a lot cause I have been busy with work and trying not too think about it too much. As soon as I had the urges I just kept myself busy and take my mind off it. As soon as the urge was there I just thought where I was when I went gamble free again and it was enough too say that's not a life for me now. Moving forward never back.

Great news you're still staying strong ally.

Any blocks you don't have in place already, I'd get them in place before the Euros start. Even make some sort of temporary changes, to ensure you can't gamble.

Of course a visit daily to this page as well, to remind you that you don't want to go back to that dark place.

Wow, nearly 60 days, that's excellent. Nearly 2 whole months.

Really looking forwards to seeing you get past that 2 months mark and onwards to a quarter of a year.
