Cant stop

Hi

I like many people thought that I could nto stop gambling.

And today I am gambling free another day.

I found I had to go to more than one meeting per week just to abstain from my unhealthy habit.

I like many people thought I would be happy if I was able to just abstain from my addictions and obsessions.

When I abstain from gambling I stop hurting myself and by doing self destruction.

Once I found a healthy meeting I found that I needed mroe than one meeting per week.

I like amny people thought I was going to abstain from Gambling.

Now today I am healthier in my life with out self destructive addictions and obsessions. 

Now today I no longer need or want to gamble.

For me gambling was a form of escape in my fears.

Handing over all money and finances was one of the healthiest thinsg I could do for myself.

The simple fact I could not be trusted with money.

The money was the fuel for my addictions with out money I had to make healthier choices each day.

I know the feeling. But today I am determined that this stops now. The time and money wasted is awful. It’s always in the back of my mind.

You can stop! its an addiction and its hard and we all relapse. I find the first few days the hardest as your still in the gambling zone of trying to get your money back. Speaking to people you trust you be surprised how understanding people are. Block what ever sites you play on.,give your bank cards to someone you trust.and believe in your self. Is there anything you can do at the different times meeting friend for coffee etc.
