Hi Nick! Great news that you are sounding so committed to this, and that you are embarking on the journey of self-awareness at such a relatively young age. Self-exclusion is always a good thing, and I would also suggest putting a blocker on your PC/tablet/mobile (K9 is free and very good) or checking out what offering your ISP has. You should also be able to get your mobile network to block "Over 18" sites. But, if you've been reading a lot of diaries on here, you probably know all that already? Do you parents and/or girlfriend know about your relapse? Get it out there if you can, the more people who are aware of it, the more people you have fighting your corner. This disease is nothing to be ashamed of if you are serious about kicking the habit. If you were sitting there wallowing in self-pity, well that would be a different matter.

Personally I have no goals this time around other than the all important, "Today I will not gamble". To me that's all you should need, yes I have fallen off the wagon myself and often it was around the time of a major anniversary, maybe a month, maybe 100 days, maybe a year? Don't push yourself too hard, you can only make a difference to today, and by making a difference today your future will take care of itself.

Well done on 3 days Nick. Good to see you hear. I would agree with whatami and suggest you share your challenge with you gf and parents. Its not easy but its worth it.

Also suggest you get some other support. Have a look on the GA site, there should be a local meeting.
