Enjoy your day out, mba. A big well done on the 40 days.
Keep up the good work and thanks for your support.
Hi Mba,
Well done on 40 days, it's a big achievement.
Like you after my Last PD loan is paid off, I have credit cards, bank loans and overdrafts, but mine are on no interest and I only pay a very small amount on each they will take years to pay off but they are very manageable.
Have a great day at the festival,
Suzannexx
Thanks for the support, Team!
The festival was excellent as always but very tiring walking around with two young girls too for 6 hours.
Back home now watching x-factor with the wife. Beats gambling any day.
Suzanne, I also have overdraft too aswell as the others. I decided against the Dmp as I have finally stopped gambling and have worked lots of overtime' to cover Christmas and my payments. I look forward to a two week work break over the festive period and no gambling.

Day 42.
A Sunday in work. My last overtime for Decembers pay for Christmas. Should have enough to pay off my final pd loan then concentrate on my credit cards.
Today is also an important day for other reasons. My nans house will finally be sold and out of our family some time tomorrow so this is the last full day we can say its owned by the Andrews'. I will be going there after work and will enjoy some time in the home my nan lived in for over 50 years. Will also leave a mini copy of my wedding album somewhere hidden in the house for some sentimental reason. will take some photos too.
Christmas tree may also go up today depending on the time we have later after but I'll get it down from my loft anyhow. Kids will want it up once its down tho.
Anyway no betting today and looking forward to an eventful afternoon/evening today.

Day 46.
Got some final photos of my nans house on Sunday which I'll treasure. Also, as we have had our wedding album delivered with 30 mini copies I put one of the mini copies, with a message to my nan and grandad, along with a photo of myself brother and sister in the roof so they'll be' there for years to come.
We never managed to get the tree up but my wife erected some Christmas lights and ornaments so it's a start. Tree will be going up this weekend so I'll look forward to doing that as a family.
On the betting front all the same really, id like a small bet but I also know it would be the start of' me becoming the man I used to be which I will not do. My Dad doesn't trust me with money and I don't think he will till I'm around 2 years clean so I look forward to' that day.
Anyway best get back to work

Day 47
Just read my wife the post I made on Suzannes diary. I am part of a whole different world out there she knows nothing about she says. Ha, we don't have fun here we are just all supporting each other and doing what we can to ensure we continue to abstain from gambling.
The Christmas tree is down from the loft and we started decorating it but need some new lights as ours are broken. Will have to finish it tomorrow or Sunday.
Received a letter from the bank. They have to reduce my overdraft by ВЈ1,350 in 3 weeks. Luckily I called them and have an arrangement of reducing it by £100 a month.
So typical, I'm just starting to get my finances in order and this comes along.
Anyway, I've been working so many hours to ensure we have spare money for Christmas and the start of the year, I am looking forward to the break over xmas as I'm knackered.
Good night
Mba
Hi Mba,
What lovely words you have written on my post, you are doing so well, and like you we are finishing the decs this afternoon after Xmas shopping again (Oh no) lol.
You keep abstaining and maintaining and keep winning, well done to you, you are doing great.

Hey Mba,
50 days a big milestone and achievement for you, I know how hard it is sometimes,
Very well done

Hi Mba,
Congrats on clocking up 50 days!
You must feel so much better now you have managed to get into the swing of life without the G word.
Celebrate with a drink or two, its well deserved. In years to come there will be a bunch of us saying we quit gambling in 2014.
Take care,
Suzy
Well done, mba!
Here's to the next 50!
Paul
Congrats man. Am looking to you as inspiration. I'm in a similar situation. Keep it up
Ah thanks for the well wishes people its much appreciated.
Its good to know I now have someone looking to me as inspiration as it most definitely will help me on my journey.
It's been a busy week at work as usual and I'm looking forward to payday on Monday to get my final Xmas presents and pay some more off my debt. I'm clocking up the overtime again this month so I can have a good pay in January to pay even more off.
No urges to gamble as when i think about it I just convince myself I don't want to go back to how I used to be.
I'm so happy now in my life I wouldn't change it for anything proving that you don't need money to be happy.
Mba
Hi Mba
