Goodmorning weekend. 

Slept heavy so woke feeling no better for the sleep. All sort of heavy and slow 

Need to nip into local town today to get some cards. I buy from the local market as I like to contribute to these traditional market stalls. Plus the selection is always more unique than high Street shops.

It's going be a day around the house to do some of the tick list jobs. Everyone is otherwise occupied today which suits as I feel like I haven't sat down properly and totally collected my thoughts all week. 

It's going take a couple of brews to unwind the cogs this morning.. Or wd40.. 

I would be lying to say I haven't thought about gambling but then when I come onto this site and read diaries etc. The word is in most threads which acts as a md aggeavator at times. But the alternative not to connect with this site isn't worth putting out to try even. 

2nd payday post gf Monday. In fact it will have been issued on my electronic rota thing so I can start this months spreadsheet. Wow. So pleased. 

Chst later all.. Until then relax into Saturday.., ?

Back home now having had a trembly moment in town. Shoppers bustling about got to me. But then one of the casino managers passed and shouted hello... Ooooooof

As you know that was my vice.. Slots actual casino no online.. 

How did it make me feel ??

Trembly for a moment

Sweaty for a minute or two

Felt like I took sharp intake breath.

I could have gone casino. Was in town the right place geographically.... BUT...... My mind being my master now said.. Go to the car. Drive home. Have a coffee.. 

I havent let myself down or my family today.. Chat calls soon and I don't want to let chat supporters down either.

Well another Saturday done. 

Feel ready for a good sleep after today's blip in town

Chat was lively tonight. Plenty of conversation.. 

I wonder is there a cure all for this addiction.. Will this be enough?

Oh it's the end of the day and perhaps I'm just tired. 

6 weeks since my last casino visit. I can't say I miss it or the people and there never ending stories of how much they spent and lost. Like it's all personal. The slot machine has a mind and should know there tale of woe ?

It's true what is said gambling brings out the worst or best in a person... 

Anyway on the up now so to speak. Just got to learn how to shake off these odd moments of me thinking how differently it could have been. 

Look forward to diary and chat tomorrow. And hope all sleep well and feel restored to battle on

Morning all. 

Up with the larks although In matter of fact sleep was scanty.. But glad to have woken and read some diaries. I have to be up this early for a reason anyway its not just the sleep thing. 

Busy day ahead. And might be popping down the local later with few friends to wind in the week. 

I endeavour to be in chat at some point today. If not it's because time will not allow or I am with company but can assure you your diaries will be read and you'll be in my thoughts today. 

Weather looks groggy. But then again there's no real daylight yet.

I'm going get organised for the day ahead. Hope everyone has a settled day ?

Well fed and watered post lovely Christmas fun run. Great medal and t. Shirt. Feel well now. Flat pleasant route. Costumes and atmosphere both good.. My early rise has not fatigued me too much yet?

Popped into chat and it seemed OK. So will try a return later. 

Pub later and a glass of wine reward me thinks.. Maybe even throw In a bowl of chips..

Gambling has been very much shoved into a far corner today.. Entering  new week free of it so as to make it 7 weeks.. Sopleased Thanks all on here for support. ?

Morning to 2nd payday gf.

Had a vivid dream about being in casino. Was glad to wake. But hey ho... It is as it is. A dream. And as we all know they fade and we don't go chasing them.. 

So busy again today.. House looks miss Haversham style re. Washing and clutter so only one thing for that.. Hire a maid.... Maybe in another lifetime?

Need to get birthday card today for dear friend and write some Christmas cards to deliver. Early yes. But meeting up with two friends today and no guarantees I'll see them before 25th.

I'll probably miss dinnertime chat but will be about for 8pm version of events... Its what's keeping my motor running and keeping me sane 

I haven't even checked into my bank balance yet. That's a positive. Because just under 7 weeks ago it would have been sort my bill money out then what can I gamble with I used to think. As though it was as vital as water. That makes me feel both good and bad as to the realisation of what money I could have.. But I cannot let the past hinder my future recovery.. And there is a future..

So whatever you do today and wherever you go enjoy. Stay safe ..
