I'm interested to know what quotes have helped on the path to recovery. If you have a favorite quote please list it here. Mine is, "It's never too late... to do the right thing."

Hi Gerard,

When I first came here someone told me " Don't count the days, make the days count ".

When I was struggling to come to terms with my husband's addiction and recovery, I read somewhere,

'Don't judge a person by their mistakes. It's their actions afterwards that are important.'

Or something along those lines. That really helped me at the time.

Hi

Just for today only I will not gamble, is my slow steady baby steps.

To exchange every unhealthy habit in to healthy habits.

Learn from the past do not live in it any more.

Love and peace to everyone

Stupid is knowing the truth
