Well that's the old dishwasher unplumbed and ready to go out. Awaiting the new arrival hoping it fits like a hand in a glove. Hopefully it will be here in time for me to have a reasonable day and catch a bit of footy and cook a nice dinner. Did well yesterday and really wanted some fast food last night but had a roll instead which is good for me. Just got to watch what I eat and the quantities. Other than that everything is going along fine. Take care

Good news on the dishwasher..you get so used them ...sounds like your doing well with the food..mentioned on elizabeths diary about protein shakes if your out and about ...my weakness is bread..all kinds of bread..and portion size. When i cook a pan of chilli its like a meal for 4.!.my weights stable at the moment and all this dog walking is helping to get the old cardio system going..My mum used to say:

For breakfast eat like a king,For lunch like a bank manager and for dinner like a pauper..Most of us do it the other way round for sure especially in the winter...thank you for your post smiler xxx .

New dishwasher in and ready to go. Feeling a little uneasy at moment but it will pass. Possibly something to do with wife going back to work and stuff. I really sold myself short in this world and it is coming back to haunt me. I will see today out and tomorrow brings a new day. These are the times that I would have gambled and i can't think why. It would have ben an escape from how I feel. Now I get on with life and let it pass me by. Just feeling sorry for myself. Take care

In a relatively good space today. Pushing myself forward and taking small steps. Glad to read most diaries and people in good spaces. If you are struggling rightnow get on the phone and speak to someone. It helps to get things and secrets shared. Remember one thing if you cease gambling today things will slowly, but surely, get better. Take care

I have worked hard today and that feeling of insecurity kicks in. I could kick myself as I have taken more work on as I think it is going to disappear overnight. Why do I do this? I have to get an even keel instead of taking on too much. Not moaning though but need to keep an eye on things. It will, if I let it, eat me up!! Hope all is well with everyone on here. I still read as many diaries as I can and each and every one is good for me. From those who have a good ***** to new people it is all good for me. Take care

Made a few decisions yesterday one was to cancel tv. Not going to miss it as I watch half a game and then switch over. Also I need to grt involved in my life instead of watching it go by. I'm working tomorrow but afternoon I'm making a point of doing something nice. Hopefully the weather holds out. I do like the nicer weather but each season brings its own special things. Hope everyone is well and has a good day today. Keep the demons where they belong so you can keep an eye on them. TAke care

Hi Smiler.. just wanted to thank you for your recent support.. it means alot.

I know what you mean about the Tv.. I get the basic cable package and the Tv part is not much different from just having the Freeview channels but I pay £10 a month. I don't watch much Tv anyway and the channels i'd like to watch would cost extra of course.

I just want the internet really but the sneaky so and so's will put me on another 18 month contract if i change anything.. and contracts get me feeling nervous just now.. given recent events.

Anyways musn't grumble. You seem in a stable place just now, working recovery day by day. Keep going matey am sure you will and with your wisdom to others. Cheers for now.. S.A 🙂

Had one of those "I'm alive" feelings today. Maybe it's because the sun was shinning, not sure. But it felt better than thinking of excuses of why I have no cash on a Friday. In a good space right now and just easing myself slowly forward in recovery. Take care

Hi Smiler...Im also on the "Im alive" vibe...I have a few blips in the day but only last minutes and they go...I made a decision to go out for a walk everyday no matter what the weather ..rain or shine..its been probably the most therapeutic thing I have done throughout the last month and kept me sane.Bought some walking boots in the sale.

Looking to the weekend too Smiler.....and just enjoying relaxing properly. All I need is nice hearty simple food, friends,a warm house, good conversation and a good nights sleep...really enjoy reading your posts ...take care

Might be alink with SAD whatever it's called. Might move to Australia this afternoon! lol.

Off to work for a couple of hoursthen ice skating or trying to ice skate. Might drive up to Loch Lomond later for a bowl of soup and crusty bread!

Let's hope the good vibe continues.
