Hi everyone,

First time posting on here. I have finally admitted to myself that I have a problem and need to stop before things really get out of control.

I used to play bingo online which I really enjoyed and was far from ‘addicted’ until one day, curiosity got the better of me and I decided to click on the ‘slots’ (worst mistake ever!) now I can’t remember the last time I played bingo but I have found myself addicted to the slots instead, I had quite afew big wins at the beginning and a couple more since then, but lost more than I’ve won as constantly trying to chase the losses. I have a husband and 2 children and am dealing with my issue alone as I dread the thought of anyone else finding out.
I have a good job with a good wage and always make sure my bills are paid first but I gamble the remainder within a couple of days of getting paid, leaving myself panicking and stressing for the rest of the month. I hate what I do and just want to be able to stop, so this is my first step.
Anyone any tips on how to get gambling out of my mind once and for all?

You need the help of others. Can you tell your husband? Can he take control of the finances and you get a bank card with a daily limit? This is what i have done

welcome, your post sounds very similar to my first post, very brave accepting you need support. My advise would be speak to your partner, you don’t need to speak about how much money but gambling is the worst kept secret . Having a well paid job is great however I’ve witnessed gambling c*****e millionaires and sat shoulder to shoulder with people who lost a lot more than money … I’m also addicted to gambling I have been Gf for two years and it’s been challenging but my mental health has been in a much better place… good luck on your journey

In my opinion I think the slots are rigged to make you lose. I don't believe they play fair.
