Thank you very much shiny for your post and support. Im sorry my reply is a bit delayed - work has been crazy. But I really appreciate it when someone posts on my diary as it always gives me a lift, wether I feel down or if I'm already feeling pretty good, seeing that someone has took the time to post to me and offer there support and advice, just makes me feel very fortunate. I think it's fantastic the way the people on this site support each other and it shows that yes we were selfish at times when we were gambling and lieing non stop but our true selfs are much more kinder and self-less than we could ever have imagined.

I share your thoughts on the newbies, I really hope everyone gives themselves a chance and can stay off gambling for a set amount of time just to see that life is so much better without the gambling headache. But as you say we find to many coming and going. And to tell you the truth I'm guilty of it, I've been here on and off for three years, under a few different names. It is certainly one hell of an addiction.

On to brighter news tho, your holiday only a week away. Let's awesome. Sounds like you need it and your gonna love it. I hope you have a great time. Just enjoy that peace.

My dear friend there is nowt wrong with treading water as i feel today it is a mataphor for you are readying to swan about in a jacussi!!!! ( my spelling is terrible like u!!) but i hope you catch my drift, I have read and posted on a lot of new diaries the past couple of days and I know from reading your water unlike many many others are no longer shark infested!!! Ok there are one or two trying to swim up the estuary toward you now and then but we both know the harpoon is loaded!!!

Countdown is on then t -6 then spa 0 clock lol.

Just in long day 🙁

Meeting followed by another , followed by another .

High light of my day was I had been fretting bout sacking someone tomorrow, she came in and resigned forthwith. Marvellous .

The energy and time spent planning this , but really over anaslizing it. Crazy , as it ain't gonna happen.

Alls well that ends well.

One more day , then off. My big daughter begged for some hours in the shop , on my three day stint in there before my hol , almost grabbed her hand off .

So things looking bit better tonight . Should sleep soundly tonight. Feeling better than have recently , fink l might be veering back into the middle .

Catch up with you all Wed. As tomorrow in early , empty my in tray. Dispense my work on anyone crazy enough to take it. Switch off the computer and the light , and walk out the door !!!

Hello my Shiny friend, how u doin ? I see from your last post that you put in some shift at work, so I hope that this post finds you well rested 🙂

Not long now till your break and if ever a soul deserved it, its YOU.

Im posting on my sons laptop, lots going on on the home front, and Im just so glad that my mind is in the right place to help me deal with it all. Had I been gambling I know for sure that I would not have coped, or maybe I woud have but maybe just not as well as I have done.

Ive never been proud of myself, but on reflection, this past week has helped me see that I can do 'normal' things like a 'normal' person, I don't need all the cr ap that comes with gambling, so for that I am proud of myself (cheezing):D

I hope your firmly back in the middle my friend, the middle is where we all deserve to be, its just kinda hard sometimes to stop ourselves swerving onto the verge.

Take good care Shiny, if I don't get back online before you go away, have a wonderful holiday and make sure you look after # 1.
