Hello mate hope you are enjoying your week off! I certainly am and a large part of it is because I'm not gambling, and im determined to make all future holidays like this.

I totally agree with you about odds being everywhere - if we had suffered with this addiction pre internet days I think it would have been so much easier to quit without it being rammed in our faces everywhere we turn. But I think that just makes our achievements so far all the better because the strength everyone on here shows and is showing is incredible.

Take care.

Well done mate only a couple of weeks now and that 100 days will be here, what an achievement that will be for us! Think we can and will definitely make xmas and our families will enjoy it all the more with us clean.

I agree with you that keeping busy is a massive factor in staying away from a bet. Also I need to guard against complacency, have had a couple of thoughts recently like 'well I could just have a little coupon on a saturday' and I do feel strong enough to do that but it's gambling playing a trick I think cos we both know where it will lead to dont we?

Ye fantasy league is coming together, I made a few shocking transfers though! Not been the best season for rangers so far, do you think ally is the right man?

Hello mate good to see you back on track and happy again. I'll echo what Suzanne said, bad days inevitably come it's how we deal with them that is important. I just try to dig in and get it out of the way, knowing that when I do feel good the next day its all the better because of all the hard work and pain we've gone through to get this far . accept the bad days, make the most of the good 🙂
