Day 50 continues.. Ive posted the number etc on your diary Rach and yes ive switched my bedroom heater on even though its an electric storage heater and they cost loads. I want to be warm enough at night and when i don't gamble i can afford to have heat!

Am feeling insecure and miserable about work, but nothing new there. Onwards with no gambling. Thanks for listening... S.A 🙂

those storage heaters do chew up the cash ..i got another duvet a dog and hot water bottle now...lol

Keep up the good work my friend and when you are enjoying the heating, think of the simplist thing gambling takes away from you. Heat and food - no man, woman or child should be without these things in my opinion, although there are millions who are. The world is a greedy place and by fighting gambling every day, you are refusing to line some fat cats pocket at the detriment of your wellbeing.

Day 51

Thanks everyone, I will get back to you all soon enough.

I lost a £20 note today, which is irrittating me. These things happen and i just need to let it go in just the same way that you have to let gambling losses go. It is bugging me a bit though.

I was walking home from the gym and i had a "thought" of putting the schrapnel in my pocket into a machine to make good my lost £20. Its silly I know but the thought was there. I haven't acted on it and I won't but when money is tight I don't need to be losing money.

Anyway besides that am fine. Work was ok if a bit stressy at times and a good workout down the gym. As long as i can continue to do 5km in under 25 minutes then i know am keeping a reasonable level of fitness. I watched this chap whose gotta be 5 to 10 years older than me run 10 km in 45 mins... thats awesome for someone of 50 odd.

Day 52

God its nearly 10 pm, way past my bedtime lol Today has been ok. Work was manageable and nothing much else to report. Well there is tonnes of stuff i could write but am tired. Need to sleep.

maybe this time as gambling free time builds up once again and i start to feel ever more better in myself I will this time make a breakthrough in life, any area of life will do, just something new, something.

Just a quick post today. No gambling problems. Its been a good day really. Work was kinda fun with stressy moments. Boss who is defo going was not in.. so thats good. I had a good club run tonight so thats good too.

Good run good stuff. My first bout of exercise for the year starts this Saturday, looking forward to it but sure I'll suffer the next day. Did I read your boss is going? I'll drink to that. She sounds like a right pain in the backside. Hope the new boss is better and has a bit more of a clue.

Good get running David and yes the boss is almost gone!! The new boss couldn't be any worse am sure.

A productive day today. Let me tell you a story about my washine machine. Its good quality A rated (whatever that means) but large. Large enough so that it doesn't fit properly under the work surfaces so that the outflow pipe thingie can reach the under the sink outflow thingie.. therfore its postioned at an angle facing the cooker. In short what this means is that when i put clothes in or take them out I have to manoever them between the small gap between the washine machine door and the over door.

This is great if i want to remove said clothes and put them straight in the oven or if i want to take out my chicken pie and give it a wash. But alas i don't want to do this as you might expect. I'd rather take the freshly washed clothes and put them straight in the dryer which is in the opposite direction to the angled washine machine. Its a pain cos you gotta get round the washine machine door to get to the dryer and of course clothes will fall on my kitchen floor, my kitchen floor which is a bit grim to say the least, thus making the washing of the clothes in the first place a bit pointless.

There is a solution to this problem and its called going to Wilkinsons and getting an outflow pipe extension thingie so that i can pull the washine round so its not at a silly angle and using up useful space.. bla bla.

Ive been meaning to go to Wilkinsons for nearly six years to accquire this said piece of merchandise and today i went!! Hurrah!!! £5.49 well spent. A smooth transition from washing machine to tumble dryer will now happen!!! Change has happened!!! Life is good.

I spose if we were to turn this into a gambling story. If i was continuing to gamble my nuts off chances are i'd of gone for another 6 years not getting the outflow thingie.. and of course I would not have had £5.49.
