Hello Charlotte, Just checked to see how you were getting on and I am so pleased you are doing so brilliantly. I too am close to 3 months being gamble free and the transformation on a person over such a short space of time is amazing. Enjoy your new life.

Thanks all xx

15 wks gamble free yesterday, next Sunday is a really important goal 4 me if I get past it. It will be the longest I have ever been gamble free. I know deep down every day we do not gamble is a better 1, but this is my own personal target that I wanna achieve.

There r times on this journey when I felt like giving up and I never thought I would ever get this far. I have received so much support from this site and made some gr8 friends along the way. So 2day my post is 2 say thank u 2 u all, ur support has kept me going thru the good times and the bad.

I am determined 2 stay strong, but feeling a bit scared at the minute I am so close 2 my goal and I really don't wanna mess up. Maddie has her happy mum back and that's the way I want it 2 stay.

I will catch up with some diaries l8tr, I'm off out 2 enjoy the sun with Maddie now lots of smiles . I hope everyone is ok and has a gr8 day 🙂

I will

Hi Charlotte,

It was a blip. Get right back up darlin. It happens to all of us. Don't be hard on yourself. Folks say it all of the time that gambling feeds on despair and negativity. Anyway enough said. Here for you. Hugs. -joan

Hi Lotte, don't be too hard on yourself, the bigger picture is that you managed to go 15 weeks without having a bet, most people would struggle to go 15 hours. It was a blip that's all, put your disappointment to one side and replace it with renewed determination. I hope everything else in your life is ok.

Take care

Steve

charlotte

I hope with the dawn of a new day your in a better place.

I hope you can take a step back, gift yourself time to clear your head.

I fully understand emotionally you must feel like you have been through a mixer.

take great heart in the fact yes you blew a gasget but the engines still running, you came straight back to recovery, that takes huge strength.

I know age is on your side my dear friend, it took me twenty years of burning money to even admit to having a gambling problem.

your courageous spirit will help, put some blocks in place to gift yourself some thinking time.

you can't change the past its gone, todays chip wrapping!!

be kind to yourself

why

because your worth it.

duncs stepping forward never back.

Hey Charlotte

How can someone who has done so amazingly well, give up now!! You have so many friends on here who just want to offer you all the support that you have given unconditionally yourself to others.

Make Maddison so proud of her Mummy by continuing to build up your strength to once again abstain day by day and make life so much better for you both once again.

Take care and a great big hug from Lady Feb.xx
