Thanks all 4 ur kind words and support 🙂

I'm off out now but I will catch up on some more diaries when I get back l8tr!

I have been looking back at my diary and I joined this forum 4 mths ago.... when I first started this journey I honestly did not realise how tough this journey was gonna be. I describe it as a rollercoaster ride, ups, downs, twists, turns and sometimes it feels like u r clinging on.... But it is worth all the hard work!

I have learnt sooo much on this journey and I thought 2 myself 2day.... If I would have knew at the start how tough this journey would be, would I have started this and the honest truth is No... B4 I started this journey I would run away from ne thing difficult. But 2day after all I have learnt here and with the overwhelming support and kind words of soooo many gr8 ppl here. I can say that I know that I can now get thru tough situations without escaping 2 a fruit machine and that makes me smile 🙂

I started this journey 4 the most important thing in my life Maddison, she is 1 in a cpl of weeks and by me not gambling I can say that she will def have the life she deserves and a mum that is happy 🙂

This journey as been a real learning curve 4 me and I am proud of myself 4 staying strong and for changing my life 4 the better 🙂

Thanks 2 everyone who as supported me along the way, it means alot 🙂

Hope everyone is having a gr8 day x

Maddison will be one soon and you my friend are doing a wonderful job with her.

Hi Charlotte...you sound like you're in a really good place at the minute 🙂 I have a little girl who just turned two and I know what a tough job being a mum is, but I also know that if you are going to quit this disease for anyone it will be for them. They don't deserve the mood swings that comes with gambling, and they don't want you for your money, all they want is your love and attention and for you to read them a story at bedtime and that costs nothing.

Good luck on your journey Charlotte. You have made such a great contribution to this site in the short time you have been here, I wish I had the time to post on as many diaries as you do (think my boss would have something to say about that lol).

Lots of Love

Hey Charl,

Sometimes we are prob at our strongest and most content when there isn't much to say! I think you are doing really well and already back up to 5 weeks gamble free! You have had some ups and downs just on this site but nearly everyone warms to you and you are so popular on here! It's your honesty and consistent support of others which makes you that person everyone wants to succeed!

Have a lovely day!

Flagg
