Hey Carl, sounds like you are doing really well! As for the marathon take your time and do it when you are ready! It is no small feat and you should definately not feel like a failure! The fact that you get out and do something other than gambling makes you a winner!

but the main thing is TODAY, and today i am gamble free. well had quite a busy week this week havent really had much spare time to log on.
i have actually booked my marathon and will be participating in milton keynes on the bank holiday in may. also to aid me in that and in this journey by tying up time i am joining a running club after christmas to keep me motivated in both journeys. also on wednesday 12/12/12 my nephew who i became legal guardian of a few years ago, (and his girlfriend ) brought my great niece grace olivia in to this world.and on top of that for first time in years i have bought all xmas presents and wrapped before xmas eve so i think its time to sit down and relax for a bit with a fruit cider and i raise my glass to everyone here who is doing a fantastic job

Getting sorted for christmas early feels great doesnt it. Ive done the same all bought and gonna spend today wrapping. We can sit back and just enjoy it all now. Less stress - something we both dont need.
I must love using the word great - dear santa can i please have a theasurus for christmas and a dictionary so i can spell theasurus.

Means a lot I have been really distant lately because of all the work commitments but it is all sorted and I am settling into my new job nicely. I am working this weekend 12 hour shifts but get to use my laptop so can keep up on diaries a bit more.

Ye it is weird with Time there is never enough of it when you want to do things in the day. But it was weird when Gambling the time just went so slow but lost so much in all the time I was there. Like they say time flies when your having fun mate.
You all sorted for Christmas then mate? Ye I work hard now 12 hours a day well it not hard work just long but gives me time to come on here and get things sorted in my admin part of life.
How is your training going mate?

Well this week has been hectic but in a good way, I am enjoying being prepared for Xmas for once, last year I would of still been gambling to fund Xmas but as you well know lose and put myself in more debt, this is how I have changed this year I was in shop today getting the work boys some treats and walked past some charity collectors on my way out I stopped and gave some money, I thought might as well put it too good use as I used to throw it away
