Hi Carl,

Hope all is well, great to see you enjoying the football without gambling, another step and another piece of your armour is strengthend. I am a big footy fan myself and slowly getting back into it after so many years worrying about my bets.

Take care and stay safe and strong.

Hope the training goes well. I plan to start my running training soon enough - still eating the last bits of Christmas at the mo then it's game on lol.

Thought the darts was brilliant. A great final, both played well and I'm a big Taylor fan so was glad he had another title left in him. Really enjoyed the tournament this year, more than usual and I think that's down to not having a bet on it, so I could just enjoy the darts without worrying and sweating over the results. Roll on next Christmas lol

Hello Mate,

Training has started I know that feeling. Struggling to get going but really pushing myself as best i can. Hope you find January a little easier.

Don't usually make a big deal about the threads on another person's diary but I noticed you had commented on the January 2013 thread. I did setup two threads on the same day which are both pretty different and you signed up to the one. Just wondered whether you had commented on the wrong one and thought I had removed your name? You are still on the one and the other one you commented on is open all year. Hope that hasn't caused any confusion just didn't want you to think I had taken your name off!

day 166

well another day crossed off, i walked in to city after work today and i passed a well known bookmakers i was not tempted to go in or interseted in betting but what i did see was people through the door shouting and kicking furniture and although i felt sorry for them i had a big grin on my face knowing ive turned my back on all that

life is too short to be wasting time on gambling time to get out there and enjoy the norm life

well i have 16 weeks monday till my first marathon and i am starting a 16 week marathon plan tomorrow which is gonna push my body to its limits but hey if i can achieve success in this journey then the marathon is a piece of cake lol

it is about runnig less times a week but running a faster pace than used to so no wasted runs.

sue i hope this has updated you on my fitness lol!!

charlotte you better start making those choc milkshakes cos i gonna need plenty lol!!

flagg i would be interested to hear if you have heard about the first plan and if so what your views are??
