Hey guys,

I want to share my story. Now I'm 27, started to gamble at my early 20s. In the first year everything looked nice and easy. Wasn't very profitable, but wasn't in the huge minus either. So I liked to gambe, to stop at the casino, make some online gambling, etc. But everything gone wrong. I started to put bigger amounts, I lost it, and of course I believed that I can get my money back - how? Yes, you're right, by gambling more! My debts grew, I started to borrow from my friends, parents, girlfriend, grandparents, etc. But the worst part is - I lied everytime. I need it for my car, I need to cover my credit card, I need an urgent situation with my health, etc. Whatever you can think about that was my excuse. I ended up with taking loans from the banks. If they give me some, I take and go to casino. And yup, I get out after 10-15 hours with the empty pockets. And everything starts from the beginning. Borrow the money and go to the nearest casino.

But everything has changed after I eneded up with the debts of more than 30k gbp. First my gf found out a lot of letters from different banks with my financial situation put on the paper. She said it for my parents, they said for grandpa, etc. The circle of truth. And they started to talk with me, they weren't angry, they just wanted to help. I am happy that I have such supportive family, friends and ex-gf (she left me but still we keep meeting for a coffee or just messaging, she helps me a lot). I found a new job. I have started to pay my debts, I made a plan of my payments. First of all I want to pay all debts from the banks and other financial institutions. I agreed to pay all my debts for my family after I finish with the banks. You know, all the fees and that kind of stuff.

Now I am not gambling for a year. Since the 1st of Auguste, 2017. I am super happy about that. I hope I am / will be strong enough to stay away out of it. Every day I wake up, I feel better and better. I know, I still have a lot of debts, but I am making steps, and if everything goes well, I should be debt free before the end of 2020. I work a lot now, so if I am okay, I am debt free on my 30s. It will be my new age of life. I am dreaming to travel around the world, to meet new people, to find new friends, who knows, maybe to stay longer in some sunny country such as Mexico, Australia, or something like that.

Best wishes, Adam!

By the way, if someone needs a help, you can ask me anything. Especially about the finances, I am pretty good with numbers and understanding how the loans work. There are a lot of stuff to know, you can pay less for these greedy bankers. You just have to fill the right papers.
