I am on day 186, busy in work, no real thoughts of gambling and no intention of going near a bookies.

I will not gamble. But I will battle.

Day 188, I won't gamble.

Just checking my bank accounts and credit cards, rearranging some money and all that. It is so depressing, feel really low. i dont know if I will ever forgive myself for what I have done. Worked my whole life just to keep my head above water and support freaking bookies.

Anyway the weather is great and I am going to enjoy myself today.

Another milestone is looming the 200 mark.

Just remember one thing m8. What stumper has said is so true.Life is full of ups and downs,but when you gamble there are lots more downs.We all go through bad patches just thinking why am i doing this?

Well at the moment ive been over 5 months gamblefree and it feels a lot longer,aimost as though ive not been gambling for the last 30 years,but if i was to gamble today it would also feel like id never stopped.You are doing great m8 Keep it up Jeff.

I was feeling a bit better and then I read some diaries of members in their early stages and feel depressed again. It is saturday, I should be happy I work hard all week for this.... anyway I am going out for a beer.

Day 189 - Week 27.

I will not gamble today.

No need to feel sad about others mate. You should just feel pleased for yourself. Some of the people in the early stages will make it through to a life of non-gambling whilst some will not. You can only help those who want to be helped at the end of the day.

Day 193

Crazy busy at work, no urges to gamble.

Reworked my finances which is great as it means no interest on credit cards. I will never get back what I have lost but I will rebuild my life.

I think you are wrong mate as you had lost your normal life which you have now managed to get back with interest.

Just wanted to say hi, day off work and just catching up with a few mates on here...Funny realy i said i was leaving the forum and yet im drawn back to it, better than throwing money into those dam machines tho!

Good to hear from you and glad you popped by my diary. I am doing pretty well, haven't gambled which makes me feel good. It is day 195 and I still hate gambling.

Some members say they don't hate gambling as so many people enjoy it without any problems...... but I hate it regardless. Ha!
