Cheers Guys.

Day 216, It does get easier its true, I don't seem to worry too much about gambling anymore.... but I think this is because I know I can never let myself have that one bet - which will start me back off, so I don't ive it hardly a thought.

I will not gamble today.

Cheers, Jim

Hi Jim, thanks for your post and kind words on my diary, made me smile!

Great to read that you are still going strong, your recovery as i have said before is flawless, i admire your determination and motivation to quit this sh*tty addiction.

Since joining this forum you have had not one slip up (some have had more slips than a penguin) and i am pretty sure you will make your next target.

Newcomers on this forum should read your diary!

take care mate, hope you have great gamble free weekend.... ands

I am having my gamble free weekend and hope you are too mate. I have got one hell of a hangover though....

I haven't slipped which is amazing really but I know it is a slippery slope for me if I gamble the once I will just slowly start all over. So I will not gamble.

Determination will get us through.

Thanks for your support Ands its priceless.

Hi All,

Day 233.

Jimmy - The urges have got much less often and they don't last as long as they did at first. Everything gets easier when I first stopped gambling, I would dream about it... but not anymore? Life is so much better without gambling it is difficult to express. It is so much less stressful.

The only way to do it in my opinion is to realise you have a problem and abstain completely from gambling. Some people can control their gambling but not me, that is why I am a member of this forum.

Having a good day and hope you are all doing great.

Cheers, Jim
