Day 313

Have had a great day! Absolutely loving it!

Went in a bookies for a pee today, as subway didn't have one no interest in gambling at all though, couple of guys playing fobt's, I fealt sorry for them as they looked like they had been there a while.

Anyway really loving life and my chicken tikka at subway was great too!

Happy in the knowledge that I will never gamble on anything ever again .

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Cheers, JIm

Interesting story Dazzler but you did not say whether you actually used the toilet in the bookies. If not-fair play as it gets them back for all the times they s***t on you as a gambler!!!!

Over 300 days now -- fantastic effort

Have a great weekend

Day 318

Another good gambling free week, which is FANTASTIC, really busy day, got steaming on Sunday which was unusual for a 'school night'; payed for it on Monday.... hanging.

Anyway much better now, got to work again tonight but never mind looking forward to seeing my wife later.

Cheers, Jim

P.s. I dont miss the buzz of gambling at all or the gut wrenching feeling when you tell your wife you just speant the equivalent of 3 months of her wages in a sh1tty machine.

Dont give up giving up, there is a reason we joined this forum and that was as we all wanted help to quit gambling.

Day 330

Not much to report, day off today, no temptation to gamble in the "old days" I would have ended up gambling today... most likely on the fobts at the bookies... but not today not ever again.

Feel pretty good am nearly debt free another 6 months I expect, I could straighten it all out now if I wanted but I have a plan and I am going to see it through to the end. Booked my summer holiday, really looking forward to it, strange I resent spending money on certain things especially myself such as this holiday, but I never used to think twice about spending thousands of pounds gambling...... anyway on with the rest of my day off.

It is not about where you start out its about where you end up.

Cheers, Jim
