Good evening diary

57 days now and I have note spent even one penny on gambling

First day back and a very long day at work which used to be a trigger.but not today

Still feeling strong and determined to keep abstaining

Feeling tired but good because I am not wasting money I do not have and that is very positive

Wishing everyone a good positive evening gambling free

Suzanne 58 days incredible.

Love that you take the gamble free day head on. Something i am learning to do, to say NO. Have a great day at work, know i am always checking in on you, i want to see the century mark. If you feel like gambling come straight here post and we will support. I know that's easier said than done but were counting on you, on each other for support with this terrible addiction. I know for sure without people like you in my life i wouldn't be as strong as i am today, so thank you! You are really a huge contributor to others diaries and for that you are truly my online friend for life. Thank you Suzanne for helping my mirror reflection return to the old loving me..

Dear diary

There is a lot of pain around the forum today and for some reason it has made me feel very negative and low

I have the time today until I start work so I have been filling my void by reading on here and doing jobs round the house

I have just had thoughts don't know where they have come from but I am dismissing them by telling you my diary that This lady is not for turning and I am saying NO NO NO and I won't win cos I won't stop

I will ride through these feelings I know they won't last

and that is positive thinking

I need to read the lows and the highs on this site to help me keep abstaining so I will ride the lows as I do the highs it all helps me to remember the good and the bad days we go through on the roller coaster

I am holding on tight and have no intention of falling off

Wishing everyone on here a peaceful gambling free day

Suzanne xx

Hi Suzanne - sorry you feel a down day today. Probably because there seems to be a lot of new people joining, and also maybe missing those 'gaps' [or me time as I called them] where you could get lost from the real world and its problems for a few hours spinning wheels!

Glad to see you are dealing with them and that you are not for turning LOL! keep it up, abstain by choice and hope tomorrow will be a better day for you!

Keep smiling cos you are gamble free and strong and determined to remain so. Kind regards, Cliff

Good morning diary

60 days today they are mounting up now and that feels good Not having spare cash obviously helps me to keep abstaining but with not having any spare money it has brought me back into reality with money

I never want to be in this situation again with no spare money and that will be another defence against my addiction

Feeling more positive this morning even though I am on a late again

I will win again today because I have no intention of spending my time and money on a destructive pastime

Wishing everyone a positive and peaceful gambling free day

Good morning Suzanne!

61 days is a fantastic achievement! I want you to forever stay 39 days behind me!

If that happens, both of us will enjoy the rest of our lives.

Have a great weekend.

Suzanne

Thanks for honestly sharing your thoughts with the forum, for me the 'medicine' this place gifts doesn't always taste nice, but it gifts the resolve all the same.

The pain in the first posts of newcomers is for me the most powerful medicine available

We have all been there,I myself never want to forget the damage I self inflicted.

Today I relentlessly pursue abstinence

Because I know what it offers

Keep enjoying yours

Duncs stepping forward never back

Good morning diary

61days is another day without spending even one penny on gambling and that feels good

What do I think about gambling today

It can lead to total self destruction so why would Anyone want that

Abstaining gives me sanity to lead a real life ok it's not perfect but it sure feels sane and normal to be dealing with my life and that is soooo positive for me

Day off today and I am going to appreciate and enjoy my day off with OH and little man coming round this afternoon with son and I will simply enjoy the day

I won't be playing today because I am too busy LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD

Wishing everyone a positive and peaceful gambling free day (in the real world)
