Hey Suzanne... I know those feelings! It's as though that gambling devil who lives in your head is saying "it's ok I know you won't gamble today but I know you are thinking of me. Don't worry I am always here - you can come to me anytime"! That's how he talks to me the evil little sod! He's more devious than I am! Give him a bloody good kicking! You're doing great! X

Well done to you for staying in control, there are always going to be bad days, where you doubt yourself but that can be said of many things in life x the important thing is that you have already given gambling a good boot up the backside by getting this far x

i believe in you and like i said before you have helped so many of us with your encouragement. However you are going to beat this for YOU!

best wishes and positive thoughts

Thanks very much Elfie Helen Jaz and Laura for your very supportive words much appreciated.x

Mondays are sometimes negative days for me as that was my big day for online slots

Good morning diary

113 days and still not spent even one penny on any form of gambling

Long day at work today

Feeling very positive about not gambling today Infact it will be the last thing on my mind have too many real stuff to do today especially with work

I will not be playing today because I am living in the real world today free from the illusional destructive world of gambling

Wishing everyone a strong and positive gambling free day

Morning Suzanne!

I have beat you to the forum this morning lol.

Well done on 114 days clear of this stupid habit! I can only describe it as stupid as i look back and reflect on how stupid we have been over the years!

But that is the past and this is the future, no gambling for us today or ever!

Have a great day! and stay positive.

Good afternoon diary

114 days of sanity and hope and freedom

Freedom from that self destructive addiction of gambling

I am beginning to feel free and that feels soo good

I will never be complacent because it will always be there at the back of my mind

I am stronger today than my addiction and each day I am getting stronger and wiser

As Steve posted to me how stupid were we to literally gamble our lives away

It did not feel stupid at the time I was in despair isolated and compelled to ruin my life and those around me more each day

I was totally addicted 100% nothing else mattered not even winning all that mattered was finding and working out where I could get more money to feed my addiction HOW UTTERLY STUPID was I it was utter madness

My roller coaster ride is going up and forwards and I have no intention of looking down

That just 10 moment has gone I can do a lot with a tenner and WIN

I will not be playing today because a tenner goes along way

Wishing everyone a peaceful winning gambling free day

Suzanne xx

Hi Suzanne and well done on your gambling free time. I know what it feels like to feel free from addiction but unlike your good self I did become complacent once more. learn from my experiences. Am sure you will. Thanks for your support as always... S.A

Hi Suzanne

Well done on 114 days!!!

Complacent is a word that is in my mind a lot because complacency is exactly the reason I find myself back in the position I am in again. I, like you, know this time that even a tenner is too much and can only lead to that downward spiral.

keep up the good work, you are an inspiration, not only for being gambling free but how you support others through this terrible addiction

Hi Suzanne

Wow, 114 days. That is brilliant. An inspiration to us all. I agree with TeeJay, we can never be complacent. We know that even a small amount is never enough, we have to gable until all the money is gone. Then the old feelings of despair, disgust, shame and guilt come flooding back. I don't miss those feelings and I am sure you don't either. I can actually sleep at night now.

Keep up the good work, we are all stronger than we think.

Elfie x
