Nearing the end of the day - could have been easily tempted today as my cheque cleared but I spent most of it on debts etc - Very annoyed as i withdrew 80 at work today so that i didnt have it in the bank and someone has nicked 20 quid out my purse!!! Not impressed 🙁
That's horrible to draw cash out so its not spent on gambling, and then to have 20 taken, but on the positive side you did not get tempted with having money in your bank, well done you and 43 days is great going.

Day 44 - 19/3/15

Not looking forward to today my OH got to have a cystoscopy today which is all well and good but the consultant mentioned they were looking for bladder cancer so its a bit of a worry - hopefully will be back later with good news not bad.
On the flip side my nan is back from Benidorm (she has been away for 3 months) looking forward to seeing her (she is also my birth partner)

Good news at the hospital. No sign of cancer but the prostate is clogged whatever that means however nothing to worry about. Also a nice catch up with my nan. A good day. Just hoping he doesn't gamble tomoro when he gets paid. He hasn't managed to do a week yet!

Thanks Suzanne. Nearly gave in early the OH just said in a blase way 'I am going to have a little gamble now' which P'd me off and I though f it so will I. But instead I went to have a nap (been up since 4.30am) and I have now just got up. A little calmer now but annoyed as I really dont think he has any intention of changing! However I know the only thing I can control is my actions and am pleased to say I never gave in. (A little part of me thinks 'Go on have a little go - its fun - you can just spend a little but etc - but the logical part knows if i do it once i will carry on and it will start up again - i know i am an addict and i cant control it so i must abstain) Dont know how much he has wasted yet as i got up after he left to pick up his son but I kn ow if its a lot he will be in a foul mood all weekend! 🙁
Very very proud of you, jeez your OH is gambling, you are getting itches and yet you are still staying strong,
High 5 girl, it's a difficult journey at times but you are doing it, keep thinkng positive about YOUR recovery,

Its only 7.40am and tired already been awake since 4am not sleeping very well at the moment (i suppose its getting me used to it for when baby arrives)
