Hi Diary,

Day 53

Just quickie tonight...thanks everyone for the posts.

Got a phone call from work yesterday evening begging me to go in today........Yep I went.

Am really tired and quite grouchy....roast pots ended up as mash cos I overboiled them...I drank bisto cos I thought it was my coffee....highlight tho was my key client in the kitchen...exact moment I drained the roast pots , now mash....song on the radio came on "three little birds"..........every little thing is gonna be alright! Well we just looked at each other and laughed our socks off!

Still havn't completed my dating thingy yet!

Tomorrow is the night I am supposed to go to the open circle meeting at the spiritual church....still undecided!

Will catch up with diaries when I get chance.

Womble xx

Well guess one good thing about pulling in all them hours at work is your making some good money instead of throwing it away. Yeah that's always a good thing especially if ya got a pile of bills to greet ya every month. LOL

Congrats on your days.

Hi womble.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting a supportive message on my diary the other day.

I see you are more than 50 days gamble-free. I've managed that twice in the last 18 years I reckon and did just over a year once. It's important to never ever get complacent though. All it takes is one slip so keep strong.

All the best.

Hi Diary,

Day 55

Would like to thank everyone for the lovely messages.

Duncs.....what a fantastic post...made me feel so humble.

Ex mug.....was lovely to get a post from you...will re-post.

Didn't go to the open circle meeting yesterday......really wanted to but was so tired and it meant driving quite a distance....have spoken to the lady and am def going at the end of the month.

Havn't completed my application for dating agency yet...have been researching how to compose the perfect profile....grrrrr mind boggles but am getting there. Hopefully by the weekend...Want to make sure it's a right.

Had a day off today so have taken mum food shopping... prepared a meal for tonight...met my bestie for catch up. So all in all a "great day"

Womble xx

Hey Trouble,

Love the fact you are back and posting regularly again. You bring a certain warmth to the site :). Surely in this profile you are writing you will mention the Karate? Although does that say feisty? Hmm I would be bloody rubbish at writing a profile, take no notice of me lol!

Always wishing you the very best,

Flagg

Well, sounds like you've had a productive day and not a bet in sight. It's great to do everyday things and get a feeling of satisfaction. Some people talk about doing normal things, but what is normal? Gambling every last penny and leaving yourself short is far from normal so we have to keep going and you are doing great Sue.

Hope your evening is as good as your day has been

Take Care
