It's great to hear from you both. Its funny, when you make this journey with others, you take every hit like it's your own, and celebrate every victory because it really means something to you and inspires your own journey.
It fills me with joy to see good people getting the better of this and making a better life for themselves, especially those that have been plagued for too long by the hopelessness and helplessness. Being gamble free and debt free is truly amazing... That I can vouch for.
However, I now realise it is time to take stock of my life and work out how I can be free in other ways... Freedom in itself is quite addictive you know... ??

Don't gamble this Christmas if you can help it. We're in a time where every penny counts, don't cave to the pressure or false expectation of having to live outside of your means in order to provide the 'perfect' Christmas to loved ones and those around you... Christmas will be far from perfect if you've spunked everything up the wall again and sit staring blankly into space at the Christmas dinner table, instead of being present, loving and proud of yourself for starting 2023 with a bang?, gamble free...
Don't get caught up in the occasion. The most amazing present ? you can give your loved ones is to take personal responsibility this Christmas and do the right thing by them and you, even if that means modesty this year in terms of what you give... easier said than done (depending on where you are on this journey) but possible nonetheless, so do it ✊️ it won't be like this forever- but if you keep gambling, it probably will I'm afraid ?
Every individual is amazing in their own right. You're amazing for fighting back against this insidious addiction and turning in here regularly for support and guidance... do amazing things this Christmas by turning the tide on your gambling, or staying clean if you already have time behind you now.
Stay disciplined and tough leading up to Christmas, then it will be all the more sweeter.
