Hope toad isn't feeling too rough this morning. By what toad said last night toad doesn't want to give up gambling just yet. That is up to toad but toad needs to stop posting on here telling other people on that he is going to the bookies and gambling when these people are trying their hardest to stay away from these places and recover from this addiction. Tut tut toady. - wcid
Hello WCID,
My diary is my diary. If people don't wanna read it they have a choice not too. We live in a place of free speech. Does that mean everybody on gamcare cannot mention gambling or turfs?
Sorry if I offend anyone but if you don't like what I write then don't read my diary.
Simples.
Toad.
Very much the same as you not taking the kind advice about recovering you receive on a daily basis.
It is indeed free speech but people choose to write on your diary to help.
Certainly something you need but in reality dont take much notice off really
Same thing every day really Paul , youre quite happy to take peoples support , help and advice , you thank them and do absolutely nothing with it !.
You might want to think about those that genuinely are trying to stop gambling , instead of constantly reminding everyone of your daily tally of losses , the people that bother to post to you are genuinely interested in your welfare , despite what you may think and I think it's very rude when you make such a off the cuff remark like the one you just gave to WCID !!
Think on fella !
Hi Paul, and everyone
You all seem to be very frustrated with each other at the moment. Many people who choose to use GamCare's services are in a place where they are ambivalent about stopping. Yes it is frustrating when you care about someone who isn't ready to change, but, sometimes you have to accept that you can't change that person's behaviour, only your own, and you need to protect yourself. If reading about Paul going to the bookies is a trigger for you, you might want to leave this diary alone, however much you want to help him.
I'd also like to remind everyone of the rules of the forum which state:
Take care of yourselves and each other,
Forum Admin
Hi Toad. Your right we all have freedom of speech and we all struggle with things differently. If this is your path to starting your recovery then that's good. People write words of encouragement to you including myself. Good luck in your recovery. I guess I won't be reading your diary anymore. Simples! - wcid
Lost my faith in the summer time.

Hi Volcano,
Book a summer vacation. 🙂

Bye toad, please say hello to Paul next time you see him at the bottom of your pond. He will possibly be the lonely guy who looks sad.
Hey everyone don't desert Toad.
Everybody is hopping away.
Toad.
Won't desert you toad...you do this how you think is best for you...I am not here to judge.....but selfishly....your repeated slip ups make me stronger in my fight
against this vile addiction....i just whish you could feel as good as I do now I've committed to recovery....but hey ho....time will tell ...good luck anyway...
Hello WCID,
Apologies for snapping at you today. I am just a bit sensitive at the minute. I appreciate all your help.
Toad.
Hello Gamcare users,

Us gamblers are sensitive animals. But also us gamblers have no patience.
Your mood swings are like a fast forward pendulum and the only way your going to start regulating it is by being true to your word.
We all f**k up but we all don't announce it as a medal of honor. You know that there's many on here wanting to support, yet sometimes it's like getting a complete kick in the bollxx.
Paul it's your choice, be lonely in life as well as with these diarys..or become part of the human/ gamcare race..
ps. Go and hunt down WCID as because anyone who's posted to you, she is one of the innocent ones and she deserves a heart felt apology
