new beginning

Day 1

I am back again. Ihave really appreciated everyones help in chat over last few weeks. The advice i have been given is appreciated I need to actions not words from myself.

So have paid some debts off but was startimg to lose again so i need to en this madness.

No gambling dobe today so happier with myself today just today.

@gambling_toad wow mate i read your whole diary your like a celebrity on here what happened to the last 10 years? You started this diary in my birthday i was in Ga at the time but still gambling your diary bought alot of memories i was exacty the same fobt is what ruined me i use to eat my lunch in bookies butties pasty i must have sold over 10k+ electical good to places like cash cash converters and CEX i was in bookies 5-7 times a week even going Ga didnt stop me fortunately i was never got grassed up i was good at hiding stuff this went on from 2010-2022 everything u wrote was basically me i would even self exclude and be in same bookie few months has they kept changing staff it looks like i wasent trying hard enough most people would have given up on me yet here i am 3+ years to get here forunately for me it was my time looks like i did it first time i must have relapsed every other day and when my money ran out i would still be in bookies sat on table watching other people play and i would have few friends come who would do matcg plays and occasinally i would have nothing and suddently i would be fed and u would get the odd rich asian guy giving everyone money which only made it worse for me which similar like being bailed out i rarely went hungry has i knew alot of people looking back at i cant believe that was even me

Thanks for your comments as you say were has time went.we are similiar and in the past we both enjoyed gambling but not so much now.

Toad update

So in 2022 i was debt free. I borrowed 10k amd lost half to crypto invrstments and half in bookies

Fast forward to now i owe 13k

5 loans

2 credit cards

Overdraft

Banned 2 of 4 bookies in local town

Action self excluding 2 on monday

I set up 2 loan payment arrangements today yo make it easier to pay back

I am going to pay this debt back in 4 years then i will be 55 years old

Im with gamstop for 5 years

No gambling

Attempted to set a payment arrangement but they just wanted voluntary payments. I want to pay it off not token payments.

So i need a long break from gambling then i will have money again.

No more gambling as simple as that.

Good afternnoon all hope you are keeping well. I went out last night had a few too many but thankfully i had some lasagne and so don't feel too bad by the pond today.

No thoughts of gambling today. Busy week in work next week so i will keep my head down and keep busy.

DAY 1

Good morning everyone!  I just had a slice of toast and tomato washed down with coffee.

I am feeling so much happier by the pond today.

No gambling today i have a few things to do and working today.

Since March this year i had a few wins but as the good people in the gamcare chat advised me we lose long term. So i have had my losing run so stepping back now from disaster.

Things are bad money wise but time will fix this and it is fixable but i need to stop gambling.

I know what i need to do.

I have been given the advice and knowledge.

Now time to take the advice and hop on with life with a croak in my leap!!!!!

Self excluded from all 4 local bookies so safer from temptation.

Hopefully my finances should improve now.

Day 5

No gambling nearly a week. Danger day is Thursday i have to leave my town and go into the city for work. My estate agent has cash for me and i need to bring this home.

I need to be strong Thursday and move in the right direction
