Hello Balvaird,

Thanks for your comments. I know self-exclusion works so I need to put it in place.

I feel terrible since my last loss. I need to forget and move on. I'm coming 41. I don't want to gamble the next 13 years.

Toad.

Hello Alan,

Thankyou for your comments. My wife is working today and i'm tidying the house so she will be happy. Going to get her some treat at the shop. Will get photographs today.

I've had time to do plenty of thinking today. Next week I self exclude then i head to counselor.

I'm going to try GA next week once i have self excluded and the barriers are up.

I worked so hard on February. 20 extra hours. All for nothing. Maybe it has taught me a lesson!

Toad.

Morning All,

Day 3.

I tossed and turned last night and had a nightmare my brother died. All the stress of recent events coming out.

I have my self exclusion form in. I aim to hit 4 turfs.

I am also going to ring GA to set up a meeting for next week. I want to self exclude from all turfs near my work before Friday.

On a positive note i am not in debt but if i don't change now i will be in debt again. Then comes the stress and worry.

The last gambling slip left me devastated. It's true for me that it has become progressively worse, slowly over time.

It's down to my wife now to manage our finances. To be honest it's a relief. I can't put us through all that again.

Anyway whatever I have lost in the past is gone. 50k payday loans, 18k loan debt and all my wages over 14 years. I have had my fun gambling but the fun has long stopped. I want to have a happier future with my wife. Now is the time to change and with that i am leaving Toad behind for good.

I am Paul a compulsive gambler.
I have bad memories being toad. I want to be me. Not the name of something but most of all. I want the old Paul back. The Paul that never gambled.

I wish you all good luck today.

Paul.

Hi Alan and Loxxie,

Thankyou for your positive posts. Okay just nipped out at 10am and self excluded from one turfs. They have another branch and they told me to fill another form out and photo. That's okay I will do what I have to do.

Changed my pay to go into my wifes account. After work i'm self excluding another turfs.

Hope you all have a good day.
Paul.
