The group is hidden, so no one can see it unless you are a member of the group. You don't have to put a photo up, my current photo is of my dear deceased pussymog, Dave. I can understand your reluctance, but like I say, just set it up under a false name, all you need is an email address - you can even set up a false email address just to set up the FB account if you want? You could use Sir'Alans pic, Uncle Alberts pic, Britney Spears pic for all we care!!! Hope you take the plunge, would be nice to see you in the group. xx

Hey Alan! x you sound happy hun that's a tonic! I kind of rambled lol yes nearly three weeks! Can't believe it it's gone slow but fast when you look back on it if you know what I mean lol. Yes I like to help other ppl I've seen some posts that were so like us when we first came on and really feel for them. So Dear diary time for a catch up :)) .

Another week over and still enjoying my new found life :)) The rewards and benefits keep showing themselves in abundance , nothing in particular but life's just so much easier without all the stress brought about when I was in my full on Gambling mode of self destruction and a person pretending he was happy and in control of life and with no care in the world other than how he was going to find the funds to gamble for another week and then find some more credit to pay his daily expenses , yet today it's so much different , I've used a credit card once in 14 months for a purchase of a new feature fire about 6 weeks ago which cost £ 800 but paid it off in full the day after the statement came in without worrying about it .

I was so convinced gambling was " My saviour " the answer to all my problems and a perfect way to boost my income , yet I only realised I already had what I needed but couldn't see it when I stopped , or maybe I did and it was down to greed ? .

Good news on the Hip hop front :)) Spoke to my surgeon on Tuesday and he feel's it should be taking place around January sometime and that their quite happy to replace both hips at the same time :)) , I explained how being self emloyed I'd have to shut my business down for a couple of months and that was fine but if I needed to do it again in another 12 months it wouldn't be great for me or my business and TBH recovery times not much longer for both than it is for one , can't say I'm looking forward to the op but I'm looking forward to not being in pain , something I've not been free of for a number of years , I'm also sick of stuffing myself with pain killers and anti inflamatory's which over time have become less efficient at their job :(( .

3 months off eh ? , means I'll have more time to pester all my buddies on here so beware one and all , LOL ! , I think I'll also just publish my last will and testiment before the op just in case , as I'm sure Iv'e got some old stuff in the shed that I could bequeath to a few of my oldest and dearest on here , it's only old tat Tbh , so no getting your hopes up I'm leaving you the chippy Loxxie , coz I know how you'd like to come across a bit more "Saaaaaaff " :)) and the same applies to deano who I know want's a move to the coast , so he's not havin my house either and it would be no use anyway as I don't have enough wardrobe space for all his dresses and orange robes :)) . I am however going to be asked to be put in the downward facing dog position though before rigor mortis set's in , then if I'm burried face down those I don't get on with so well will at least have somewhere to shove their flowers :(( "Ouch " .

Hey Alan! That's a fantastic post hun! I just love the bit about Deano and his dresses and orange robes lol! Again visions! Lol. You'll be in good hands Alan for your hip op! The NHS is slated but they do marvels I think against the odds with cuts etc etc. And when the nurses meet you they'll be bowled over by your fab personality! Which assures extra special treatment lol :)) I wish you really well Alan for the op and quick recovery time :)) your customers will miss you though. Great news on here he hip hop(sic) both at once sounds daunting but if they both need doing you might as well do them at the same time if the recovery is not much different. I'd imagine January would do the idle time to close down the shop for a few months and maybe try end book a holiday towards the end of it, you and the Mrs and new family certainly deserve it.

I think it's amazing that after 15 months you are in a position where you can close your business for a coupke of months and still be able to hold your head above water.

Thanks for your support the other day I'm still reading daily to keep upto date on gamcare life.

Finally stop the excuses set up a FB account it could do with some new blood on there lol.
