Afternoon Uncle. Thanks for your reply...I wasn't trying to dig (well, maybe I was just a little bit!). I really was interested in your thoughts. And what you said is what I'd guessed you'd say, and how I think I would react in your circumstances. Once there's children involved who were hurt it becomes a whole different ball game and finding forgiveness or acceptance of that isn't something I can fully understand. Sometimes lines are overstepped that can't be forgiven....and I agree that it seems that the person who gets most from it is the person in "the wrong". Although lots of people argue that there's a lot of power in forgiving....that it's beneficial for us, which I guess comes from letting go of the anger or resentment. My ex and I didn't have kids (thank the lord) but I find myself with similar feelings to yours about the way my sister (also an alcoholic) treated her children.
Anyway, don't want to dwell on it anymore. I was just popping in to say I'm sorry if I prodded a sore spot. That wasn't my intention. I know we've got to be mindful of your BP at your age, and I don't want you getting all bent out of shape (not with your dodgy hips). That vaping stuff that Zen Deano is on seems to be having a great effect. I don't even smoke, but I'm thinking of getting some. As my yoga fellow would say "go well" LB x

Hi I'm feeling much better today thank you, have to agree with post 550, I think you would make a good counsellor. 50 days for me tomorrow, still on my guard but looking forward to payday in 10 days time as I can clear another couple of debts off, buy some xmas presents etc., so nice to feel normal. Only had a couple of headaches over the last 49 days and one of them was today because it's stressful at work at the mo were as before I had headaches at least a couple of times a week watching flipping reels go wrong and talking to them (or cursing them), lack of sleep etc., best wishes x X

Hiya Alan x thanks for your support again! Not sure about poo pies yummy though! On Marina where I live there's be really concerted effort to stop doggy poo and now signs have gone up saying £80 fine yet there's more poo than ever and makes me feel sick lazy sods not picking it up but I thought of you and how you can make some poo pies here! Lol! What a conversation! Yes I'm doing good still gf! God yes I wouldn't have bothered with interviews let alone getting a new job cos of course it would've eaten into gambling time :// I'm bit perkier today cos gf and it's gooood! On my local radio station following the dredging up of a 500lb WW2 bomb this morning not far from my shop , theyv'e just interviewed a Royal Navy Commander in charge of the Naval base who said " I've seen photographs of the offending item and it was definately bomb shaped , quite large and a bit pointy at one end " , Really ? FFS , I'll sleep soundly in my bed tonight knowing I'm in such capable hands ! :((.

Good evening my lovely 🙂 I've been nursing the Sharknado of all hangovers, so a fun time was had by all at least haha! Too many tequila shots is not good for the soul (or the head, or the stomach) but they are good for the laughs. Now I remember why I don't drink much, I love the night but am getting to old for the after effects but what the heck, it is nearly Christmas! No Russian sailors were kidnapped in the making of my hangover, never fear.
What has happened to Deano? He's buggered off of FB and is not feisty enough by half at the moment. I'm going to have to have words in his shell like. Talking of FB, no more using your daughter coming over as an excuse - it's as easy to set up a FB account as it is a Gamcare one, you don't have to put a pic up either if you're worried about Loxxie stalking you lol! Come on, I miss the laughs.
