NEW DAWN , NEW DAY , FEELING GOOD !

Hello old diary , good week all n all , still no thoughts or urges , footballs not my thing so no real interest thankfully .

Great day today , had my son home from uni this weekend , back for a couple of shifts at a bar he works at and then back to his digs at uni for the week where he's got got the house until the end of June , He's back here again next Wednesday for an intervue at a local art gallery for the summer , which will keep him busy along with the work he does for the Americas cup , next month.

Took the kids out this morning for a walk with the dogs , I ended up playing Cop's n Robbers with them , mostly me being chased through the forest and slipping up a lot , so I'll have some sore joints in the morning , I made the mistake of telling the eldest the Pirate joke this morning " Why are Pirates so scary , Coz they aaaargh" ! , yep thats the one ( Big mistake ) , he laughed so much which was fine but then told it over and over again , to my partner , and his 2 brothers the youngest whos 1yr for about an hour and a half , I tried explaining about it only being funny once or twice but still the Aaaaargh's kept on coming, so I'm pittying the kids and teachers at school tommorow !.

I've come back to the quiet and safety of my own place tonight , to have a go at my Father of the bride speech , started off looking at stuff online but that's not really my thing "Plagiarism " they call it ( their word's not mine ) LOL ! , so just had a go from the heart and Ta , Dah ! 4 hours later it's in a rough but good state , a bit of tweeking over the next few weeks and I'll have a pretty good speech I think ? .

My daughter came over in the week to remind me of certain things I could and more importantly couldn't say , one being that she wanted no mention of her mother in it ( akward ) but I'ts her wedding and her choice I suppose , My girl's flown out to Italy this morning with her partner who's working for a few days , while she loafs around by the pool but I think her main aim is to check on arrangements for the wedding .

The wedding will soon be here time has flown by since you first mentioned it. I'm sure the speech will be a belter wanted to say a cracker but that might get edited. What's the plan with the kids are they allowed to go or will they be staying put?

Hi Alan and thank you for your kind post. Diabetic eye clinic next friday and diabetic nurse appointment in August. Have lost a stone so all going on the right direction.

How's the painting going? I order my green paint in bulk as my house is all green. So if you need cheap paint i'll get you some.

I miss the gampeeps lately. I was in the bookies yesterday so today i am self excluding.

These 2 men on the machines did their plums in and they both left together to the atm. They returned and did £100 in each of them.

I used to be like that. As i don't carry much id only a tenner on me.

Did i feel guilty going in? Not really
Did i think of my wife? No
Do i really care about life? Not really
Just the mood i was in yesterday.

But i did make the wife a nice turkey dinner as she was working late last night. So I am not all bad lol

Anyway i was swimming along towards my new lily pad and i was distracted by the bright lights of the bookies. So I'm back swimming.

Anyway enough about me. I'm glad you are doing well loxxie. You have offered me plenty of support.
