I have been reading your diary this morning. I think you should decide for yourself, if/when you will inform your husband. I am a very private person so telling people is just not something I would ever want to do. I did however, tell my sister, who I am extremely close to and, one of my brother's. They were both so supportive financially and my sister also gave me so much emotional support too, whilst remaining non judgemental.

I see you are using your diary well, whilst also being so supportive to others.

Take care, remain strong and I hope you are going to treat yourself to something nice today. You very much deserve it!

Hi Feb. ..thankyou...yes I'm chuffed to reach 50 days...always on guard though !
Hubby knows everything now...which is fantastic...first time in 30 odd years of marriage that it's been like that...so something good has come from a bad situation....things in place to sort priority debts...planning with step change underway for long term debts....main thing is re building relationships that were based on lies and deceit while I was gambling....and looking forward to a brighter future....still one day at a time....because.....yesterday's
gone...tomorrows not promised....so today we must get it right...or at least try our hardest ...I find here so much help...and if I can help one person just a little bit then that makes me feel better as well....hope you are doing well in your recovery...x

Off with hubby for his six month check up with oncologist...fingers crossed....

Loxxie, well done my love. You have come such a long way in 50 days and things can only get better. Having loving and supportive family and friends who you can be honest with about your addiction and recovery really helps us get on. Thanks for all your kind messages on my ''fiftieth ''...and most of all thankyou to all of you for your amazing support...great advice...and genuine care you have shown me on my recovery journey....to anybody out there just starting on there journey....stick with it...take the advice offered on here...and take one day at a time....you can do it....and the icing on the cake today....hubby been given another 6 months cancer free....ooh...and I missed a call from the job interveiw asking me to call back asap.....so will update on that tomorrow...#feelingblessed# x

Lovely morning with daughters and two of the grandchildren...so wonderfull to be relaxed with them....would have always cut visit short to rush to laptop....not anymore....ohh. ...and I got the job....start Monday...x
