So....150 days it is then...!
How does it feel ?
I'm tired...I'm running my tiny little pub single handed. ..I'm working a second job...to top up my income...I'm paying my bills on time...I'm trying to get some long overdue decorating done...I'm doing all the usual things a mum has to do to keep the home fires burning...AND I'M NOT GAMBLING. ...so yes it feels good
...I feel good....I feel proud...I feel in control of my life again....you guys that have been with me from the start may remember me saying that all was not good within my marriage...well the strength I've got from dealing with this addiction and righting several wrongs along the way have left me questioning our future together.....am I sad or scared ?. ..no I'm not....because I've got nothing to hide or keep secret anymore....and I'm being true to myself....selfish ?. ..no..I don't think so...just wanting what I think I deserve...anyway...who knows...but I do know I'm now a strong independent lady who can deal with it all without running to an online slot machine !
And to my three musketers...don't panic...loxxies happy and chirpy this morning because she's been gamble free for 150 days and will bust a gut to keep it that way xxx

Morning Loxxie , Congratulations my luveeeeer on 150 days of winning , I'm really happy for you that youv'e found an inner strength since giving up , to be honest you can see that from your posts at the beggining and how they are now .

Sometimes we think that by fixing one thing in our live's it will make everything else better , sometimes it works and others it doesn't ? , You know what you want from life now and you know the only thing that limits you, is you ?.

You know yourself Loxxie and I'm sure you'll make the best choices you can in your future , you wern't happy with gambling in your life and you changed it , it's your life and if somethings wrong you now have an opportunity to fix or change anything and I'm sure whatever that is you'll make the right choice .

Lif'es a contiunuing journey with crossroads all along the way , we can go left , right or keep going the way we were but we never ever know where the journeys gonna end !,

Stay safe and chirpy and positive Loxxie and I'm really happy to be a musketeer but can I not be the fat one, coz Deano's got that part coz he's a biscuit muncher now ? :))

Morning...afternoon...evening..
Sorry guys timetables up the creek. .
Broadband from those lovely bt people is playing up....so struggle to get on here...blimey...just imagine if that was in my gambling days....I'd have been in melt down ! lol
In fact I can remeber it happening once....i think i tried to buy a dongle thing to connect to some other network or
something....how sad...actually it sounds ludicrous lol
Anyway I'm good ...good weekend in pub and home...just taking it a day at a time with hubby...no plans either way...being open and honest as always now...getting on with things I want to achieve...and will see what happens along the way...
Diy at the painting stage now...and I look like I've had a seagull s**t on me....well....you know what is girls are like with a paintbrush....lol..great feeling to have paid for materials...carpet...bedding..furniture etc....loving having a savings pot now....and watching it grow....even after buying things is something alien...lol...loving it...
Right....back to the paintbrush...what safe troops
And as ever....any newcomers passing by my post....life's better without the gambling...defo ! Xxx

Hi Loxxie - fantastic getting to 150 days, such a great achievement! Being gamble free allows us to spend so much time doing other things - like getting the paint brushes out! Keeping doing what you doing!

Wasn't there a red coloured Seagull flying around near you somewhere ? It had apparently flown into a factory that made the sauce for Tikka Masala and fell in the vat but managed somehow to escape , Imagine that coming at yer Lox , or crapping on ya ?

It'd be like a big flying Salmon with creme cheese coming out of it's b*m , picture that thought Loxxie :))

Your word's of comfort and wisdom " I f**t quite a lot " and there's me thinking it was the sound of the wind gently blowing accross the moors as I trundled down to Cornwall ! x
