Busy weekend in pub....
Busy weekend with diy. ..great to go to store and just pick up what I needed....without thinking ooh which is the cheapest paint/paper etc...can't even imagine chucking money in a online slot machine now...but do you know im not sorry or bitter about my time in addiction....in a weird sort of way ive learnt so much during the last 145 days....I look at everything in a different light....I really think things through...what I do...what I say...how I react to a situation....yes...the addiction was awfull...truly awfull...the money wasted...time lost and
relationships strained because of the person I had become whilst at the height of it...and I will always hold those feelings in a little box in my head as a reminder of a place I never want to visit again. ..and as ever will remain on guard
Money wasted...gone. ..but hey ho...I'm a grafter and can earn more.
My dear children....can now talk to them openly and honestly...and they know mums back on track....and actually on a better route in her life...I thank them for hanging in in there x
Relationship with hubby...well that's good...again for the first time in all our marraige...I'm open ..honest...and not hiding anything....weird....it's kind of given me a new confidence because I'm not trying to keep my secret anymore....not quite back to the mills and boon days...but who knows lol
So...all in all I feel I'm trucking along quite nicely....

Right...today I'm off to work...then returning to break up 3 sheets of plaster board to bag up for the tip ! ...and tend to the usual donestic chores us ladies have to do...boring ?. ..nope !. ..normal....yeassss ....loxxie loves being normal and free from the online slots....: ) x

Fast approaching the 150th day of being gamble free ! blimey....never could have imagined that all those days ago !
So...the moral of the story is...YOU can change things.....if YOU change them....and boy I'm glad I did !
Anyway...rubble bagged up...little bit of plastering left...then the decorating starts ....but first I'm off to work...then back to prepare cricket teams supper...bar open at 7 tonight...and before I can say " Jack spatt"...it will be midnight....happy days peeps...oh. ..and if any new comers stumble across this post....things WILL get better...if YOU REALY WANT them to...get everything out in the open to those that need to know....take one day at a time...and make some changes xx
