All ok here....just doing what I do..
Hubby loved his birthday flight and the weather was clear and dry....so made it even more enjoyable....great steak meal and a bottle of plonk...then proceeds to board plane to return home....
Except the security bloke took a shine to me I reckon and pulled me to one side !
Boots off.....b****r. ..hole in sock. .
Handbag emptied. ...not so bad as I had given it a bit of an mot the day before. ...but still felt like that moment in Mary poppins film !
Zapped all over with a scanner thing.....
Severe telling off because I had two lighters on me.....
Hubby had chucked his in my bag... why do men expect us ladies to be glorified back packs...lol
Any way....we loved the day out...
Pub doing so well....lots of things happening....
Quite a big deal is a local trainers yard want to hold there dinners for owners here....there keen to support me....and I'm not saying no to any business. ..
It will be hard work....but that never killed anybody.....
I expect some of them will have there nose up there a*s. ...thinking they own a percentage of a race horse. ....but hey. ...I can deal with them....it's all money in the till....lol
Sooo. ...life's all good ....nothing major to moan about really...
Very grateful that my strength I asked for in the beginning is still with me....long may it last...

Morning Loxxie , I had my shoes whipped off before we left for my daughters wedding , quite exciting really as that's never happened before , just wondering what the detectors had smelt ? , looking forward to setting em off when I get the old hips done :)) as youv'e gathered it doesn't take miuch to amuse me these day's .

Glad hubby enjoyed his flight :)) and that the bar's busy for you , rubbing shoulders with the racing elite eh ? hope your on your best behaviour and don't start pestering them for tip's , well not that sort anyway ? and if your thinking of serving Horse on the menu then make sure you remove the bridal beforehand otherwise you get " Bit's " in your teeth ! ( see what I did there , bridal bit's ) ok enough of the rubbish jokes for now and I'll catch up soon Hun .

" Cornish Hake " !! , It's alright I wasn't swearing at you and calling you an old Fish , admin will probably censor it anyway unlike " v****a " which is just fine :)) . What I meant before I went off on one was you could get some lovely Cornish Hake to make your pie , fresh off the boat and delivered to your door and it does come in boxes with crushed ice and not in an envelope , you could also use the ice for some sort of " Fishy cocktail" instead of a " s*x on the beach " it could be Loxxies " Swim's in the Sea " Got a certain ring and an even stranger taste :))

Morning Lox , Not sure if he has a licence but he's probably out on licence ? , yeah the hip thing might be a problem hadn't thought that one through really , maybe you could hire one of those cherry picker thingy's so i could just have a perch ( not the fish perch by the way ) to oversee the works ? .

Anyhoooo's working now so fish to skin , bone and fry ( always works better in that order ) so I'll catch up with you soon :))

Some 10 months ago would I have been doing this ?
Well....yes I would still have baby sat whenever I was needed..but was I actually " with the boys" totally 100%...no...I wasn't...
so glad i started taking one day at a time....x
