For what it's worth...Surely plodding along is better than the stresses & strains you were under before?

Great work on 700 winning days Steve 🙂 & hope the training is going well!

Hi Steve

Congratulations and well done. I got to just over 800 days before I had a few gambling episodes after March last year

It may not feel like it is anything special. That may be due to you now just feeling "normal" and not being consumed by gambling.

Keep doing what you are doing.

Take care.

Thanks Feb!!!
Day 709.
I may not post here as much but that doesn't mean I am no still fighting this addiction!!!
Still in control at the moment!
Just under 2 months until I embark on my 77 mile charity (cancer) bike ride. Training needs to ramp up a bit to get the miles my legs! 20 miles a day isn't going to cut it! I have week off in March and I intend to do the route

Hey you :)) thought you had better post on your amazing 2 year achievement of not gambling.

Never underestimate yourself Steve on your achievement, I am sooo very proud of you for coming this far, the odds of staying gamble free for 2 years, are probs 3%,

I know you think to yourself, gambling, what was that all about,:)) but it was about, my friend, and don't ever let go of the fact that you are a CG, keep holding on tight to your recovery, and don't switch off from it:)).

As always 39 right behind you:))

and as always

Luv Suzanne xxx

Hi Steve,

What an amazing achievement, how could I not say congratulations - whoop whoop! 2 Years of abstaining, I'm sure you've had challenges on the way but have found a way to overcome them. Wishing you a great weekend and hope you're going out tonight to celebrate!

Day 753!!!
Cycled 71 miles yesterday in my final bit of preparation for my 77 mile charity ride which is Sunday! Raised over £300 so pleased with that!
Just a few one hour commutes this week now to keep the legs spinning. I am just praying for a decent day on Sunday!
Have a great gamble free week!
Steve.
