Hi tara,

I have moved your thread to the "recovery diary" section and hope this is OK. You are more likely to gain ongoing support here and it will help us keep the "new members" section for the newcomers.

All the very best to you

Gabriele

Hi Tara, just keep taking deep breaths and get through a day at a time at the moment.

Hi Tara, well done on stopping and hope all goes well for you. Do you have any gambling blockers installed on your devices? I find that they have helped me a lot.

o*g Tara! Firstly welcome and secondly - You GO!& never ever set for the less than you're capable or dream off!

I am exactly the same..working hours, Good pay.....but it's just not me! I'm lost where I am...so I am making changes! Trying and seeing the outcome. Without trying, we won't know!

Follow your dreams and it's never too late to kick start them! Honestly...please believe this never giving up soul ☺

I did go to some interviews only for the experience..dunno, maybe built my confidence! It's always something to learn from them but no...not blaming you for not going to one. I wouldn't go to Doctor's interview if my ambition was a stewardess 😉

Keep up good work and please keep posting & staying safe!

S&B xx

Hello tara,

People are reading even if they don't always post.

I know myself since quitting gambling i've found a few areas i want to change to be happy and why shouldn't we choose what we really want to do with ourselves? If it doesn't feel right then don't pressure yourself about it. Compulsive gamblers really know its never just about money.

Just focus on not gambling and blocking it as much you can.

All the best, i'll be around =)
