After reading a few touching stories on here and getting my act together Im on the road to recovery
Its been a month now since my last bet and I couldnt feel any better in myself. I was betting uncontrollably and losing thousands in casino but most in sports bets. My loses kept piling up and I was never the same person as I use to be. I changed as a person, for the worse and fell into a deep depression. I felt constantly frustrated, I was alone in my gambling and felt unloved. I contacted gamcare via the online site and phoneline. They helped me so much :). I did fail a few times after this but eventually I got myself back on the right track
I know I am far from the finish but i just wanted to make this post to thank everyone on the site. If you are where I was a few months ago, DONT GIVE UP. If you believe in yourself you can do anything :).
I feel so much more richer for it that I have taken great pleasure in binning all the free bets I have received for the world cup. Who needs gambling anyways.
I never got here before failing a few times so dont worry!. I am finally starting to enjoy life again and I couldnt feel any better.
I wish everyone all the best in their recovery and ill be posting more updates as the months come by.
Love
Dale 🙂

Well done Dale - lovely to read such a positive message and glad that you are enjoying life again. Gambling takes away so much from us, emotionally as well as financially.
Keep us posted on your continuing progress.
Best wishes,
Joanna
