30th September 2014: Signed up for Gamcare and today is the start of my new beginning... I promise to myself to post here everyday for the first 30 days and then every 7 days for the next month until I am only checking in every month.

Day One:
Well I kept myself busy with work and successfully didn't gamble. I did notice how much gambling thoughts popped into my head but for some reason having joined this forum I had an inner motivation to put them to one side.
I had another interesting experience this morning where I looked in my bag and found 5 of change- I took it as a sign that I'm on the right track!
I go between overwhelm of what I've spent, guilt and anger and also that I've got 4400 to pay off debts and how much I'd love to get rid of it now - but having read the forum I can see my old belief of paying off holing debts through more gambling isn't the right one.
I've seen on other posts the triangle of money time and location and you need to remove one to avoid gambling and I'm keeping this firmly in mind.
